From the moment I arrived I felt the quality of service this Hotel offers. The check in was flawless and courteous. The room was beautiful with contemporary accents. Great location, close to major attraction and the best shopping area. Since I was in a little honey moon getaway, they were so nice and sent to the room a complimentary bottle... More

We had a quick stay but wish we could have stayed longer. The one-bedroom suite was amazing. Great space, great bathroom and amazing pillows and towels. Great comfort for the price and location. I would definitely stay here over other pricier hotels in the area. The location can't be beat and the room was lovely. Very clean and spacious.

Everything about this hotel is first class. Location, food and service. The rooms are extremely large and the bedding very comfortable. Even the minibars are well stocked with excellent choices. First class all the way. I would recommend this as your home base in downtown Chicago.

The Park Hyatt is an excellent choice for a Chicago hotel, partly because of its location but also because they demonstrate that they strive for excellence in service, food, and cleanliness of the facility

This was my third time and each time has been fantastic. Definitely ask for a higher floor watertower view which sees through to the lake. The area is central to most of the main department stores. The spa is wonderful and I had a great swedish style massage. The pool has full length laps plus jacuzzi with a steam room... More

Property is ideally situated to explore Chicago. There are many good places within walking distance to eat, some less than 300 feet! Property is clean with a great staff who multitask many jobs. The person who checks you in may later sell you a beer. It is not a resort. It is a clean place to use a base to... More

The Park Hyatt, Chicago must be the best location in the city. Our lake-view room on the 10th floor was a good size and very comfortable with a lovely window seat looking over the Water tower place and lake. I think the reception area downstairs was a bit gloomy and would benefit from a bar which would bring life to... More

We stayed here over Christmas (just getting around to the review now). Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in, certainly the one I've enjoyed the most. The location is amazing. And it's very nice to have a quiet, relaxing, and beautiful place to come home too right in the center of Chicago. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was lovely,... More

I stayed here for business. This hotel is a bit pricey but is certainly a great hotel. It is very close to the Michigan Ave shopping as well as numerous top-notch restaurant options. The rooms are large with great bathroom amenities. The bed is very comfortable. The only thing in the room that I didn't like was the clock radio... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
