The Park Hyatt, Chicago must be the best location in the city. Our lake-view room on the 10th floor was a good size and very comfortable with a lovely window seat looking over the Water tower place and lake. I think the reception area downstairs was a bit gloomy and would benefit from a bar which would bring life to... More

We stayed here over Christmas (just getting around to the review now). Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in, certainly the one I've enjoyed the most. The location is amazing. And it's very nice to have a quiet, relaxing, and beautiful place to come home too right in the center of Chicago. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was lovely,... More

I stayed here for business. This hotel is a bit pricey but is certainly a great hotel. It is very close to the Michigan Ave shopping as well as numerous top-notch restaurant options. The rooms are large with great bathroom amenities. The bed is very comfortable. The only thing in the room that I didn't like was the clock radio... More

The Park Hyatt is an excellent hotel in one of the best locations in the City. The staff were wonderful and the rooms are very nice. The bathroom was exceptional - very nice size and the television was a nice added touch!!!

I spent one night at the Park Hyatt for a business meeting. Everything about it is outstanding. Location, service, rooms - all spectacular. I highly recommend the Park Hyatt Chicago. NoMi (restaurant) can get a bit pricey, but it is worth it.

We used to stay at the Park Hyatt while we were searching for a condo in Chicago. Loved staying at the Park Hyatt. Staff exceptionally nice, rooms very comfortable, great buffetbreakfast, location right in the middle of everything good about Chicago, AND right across the street from RL, a delectable restaurant. Our favorite hotel in Chicago!

Very modern, chic and great service. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left the experience was excellent. The in-dining menu great and the food even better. The concierge was very knowledgable and was able to get us into hard to reserve restaurants. The bellman were very quick to get us a taxi when needed. The front desk... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
