great spot - modern decor, peaceful environment. The rooms were large and luxurious. Great location - easy to walk around the city. The Nomi garden was a great way to get outside and have a drink and some good food.

Great way to enjoy our 1st trip to Chicago. Everything about this place is top shelf. The location is awesome. Walking distance to a lot of the things we wanted to explore in town...restaurants, tons of shopping and a lot of touristy sites. The accommodations are 5 star, huge room and bathroom with all the amenities. The service provided really... More

I like to stay at the Park Hyatt when I am in Chicago. This time, my assistance made a reservation at another hotel closer to where I needed to be and I automatically went to the Park Hyatt without checking. I got to the front desk and after insisting I had a reservation I finally discovered that I didn't. The... More

As a Hyatt Diamond member, I have stayed at probably 100 properties worldwide. This property ranks among my favorite. I had to stay in downtown Chicago for a conference (live in the Chi burbs) and was thrilled to get to stay at this Park Hyatt for the first time. Regular old room, but it was beautiful - modern decor, great... More

Very quiet, comfortable and convenient. Awesome city and lake view. One of the nicest places in any city. I would go to Chicago just to stay here, and always stay when I need to be in Chicago, even if my meeting is in another hotel.

I stay at the Park Hyatt for the first time during this trip and this was my first time stay in this area – I usually stay on Lakeshore … and this property was fabulous! My room was amazing! I overlooked Michigan Ave, and could see all the way down to the Lake. The staff was so accommodating, we were... More

El Primo. We were just overwhelmed with the experience. I've responded to their survey numerous times about the possibility of actually living there. If adoption is required, I'm all good with that. Oops, the review says I must have 200 characters here... so, I could invite my friends from the Melrose pool hall. I probably shouldn't...

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
