This hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Chicago. The price is excellent, the staff members are incredibly nice and welcoming (especially Brenda). The rooms are clean, the hotel is clean, but I think there was not enough pressure in the water pipes...which is understandable because buildings in Chicago are old... But it gets the job done. Overall,... More

Great location, great room, clean, efficient staff who were very friendly. Front desk staff were amazing and supportive when called upon. Brenda, Joel, Michael, Jacob, and Mizzy were helpful. The price was right and we were given a break on our rate when we could not connect to the internet. (This needs to be corrected as we were on the... More

Now I realize that this was Chicago in the summer time, and everything in Chicago is ridiculously overpriced, but for $160 per night you would think that the service and the room would be a little higher quality. The front desk folks were busy, but truly don't seem to go out of their way to help you. One exception to... More

At this hotel located in the heart of Chicago the staff do not care about their guests. They offer free Wi-Fi service in the rooms but there is not a strong enough signal to reach the rooms so we have to use the lobby which we are in right now. They don't believe in good housekeeping. The room was very... More

Hotel is not the worst I've been.. However for $120 I expect a bit more. Staying downtown Chicago I knew that it would be a bit noisey, wasn't too bad but might be for a light sleeper. Building is a bit dated. Elevator is tiny. Valet parking is pricey... But for Chicago it is expected. Our room had the necessities.... More

Not as bad as other reviews would tend to indicate. The rooms are reasonably-priced and small. Facilities are okay. Rooms have a decent hairdryer, and iron and ironing board, with satellite TV and internet. You pay extra for the safe. Everything worked for us but the internet is a little slow. None of your silly Bose Docks that don't work... More

Nice clean place. Not fancy but great prices for Chicago. I stay here whenever I go to Chicago. The location can not be beat! Right off MI avenue! A couple of blocks and you are on the magnificent Mile. So close to great shopping, dining, and entertainment. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Free Wi Fi which is great.... More

Stayed here due to proximity to Northwestern hospital. Bathroom had mold. No garbage can. Trash on floor in bathroom. Internet doesn't work. We weren't expecting luxury but at 200/night I expect clean.

If you're looking for luxury, this is NOT the place for you. It's not dirty, in the sense that you can tell they vacuum and clean, but it's OLD. So old that it looks dirty. But that said, if you want to stay for cheap in a great location, you can find that hear. The staff was nice as well
