This was my 2nd visit to the Hyatt at McCormick Place and far better than my 1st a year ago. I was there for a three day conference. It really is in the middle of nowhere for those without cars. I had a cold ten block walk from the Chinatown subway station. Leticia checked me in and was very gracious... More

The staff at this hotel went out of their way to make our stay at pleasant one. From Daniel the Doorman, Louise at the front desk, and the helpful housekeepers , our stay for the NAEYC Conference was very comfortable. It's the friendly faces of people who care about their work and strive to help the customer that makes a... More

Just got done with displaying at an Expo in McCormick Place. Staying at Hyatt Regency McCormick made the logistics so much easier. No parking or grabbing taxis morning and night. No having to go outside unless I wanted to. And especially having a close walking distance from my room to the Expo area! Previous years our company had us staying... More

This was a very convienent location however be aware there is not much within walking distance. We cabbed to all restaurants... the room I was in was just standard, but some of my coworkers were placed in nice suites. This hotel is right next to Lake Michigan. I would stay here again for the convience of it being connected to... More

We'd spent 7 hours trying to travel the 1-1/2 hours to downtown during a 6-10" snowfall. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating with directions, gave us wonderful room (31st floor city-view, despite the fact that we were "bid-your-own" priceline customers). My only complaints were that the music throughout the public areas was so loud it was difficult to take... More

I had a beautiful time and the bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. They have good restaurants in the hotel and their pizza was the best in Chicago. The room was beautiful, my only complaint is that I believe that the WIFI should have been free. More

Stayed there in December last year for CFA exams. If you just go to Chicago for business in McCormick Center then it'll be your best choice. But if you also want to see around the city there might be some trouble. Public transportation only includes buses but no subway there, and you'll have to grab a taxi. Food is not... More

Stayed here in skyline suite for two nights for a conference. It was great!! Room service was top notch for breakfast but they came at the last possible minute within the 30 minute period. Stayed in room 2801 with views of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan. Also, the train station is only a short walk away to get access to... More

This hotel is very convenient for convention delegates who are attending convention or meeting in the convention centre next door. There are sky hallways connecting to the convention centres and hence one does not need to go outdoors. The drawbacks are it is away from the downtown core and museums. There is no subway close by but there is a... More

I stayed here in December of 2011 for a convention at McCormick Place. Location couldn't have been better, never had to walk outside to get to the conference. The room was nice, with a nice view of the lake (i was on the 30th floor, not facing the city). Overall, the room was clean, but there were minor things that... More
