My recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Chicago exceeded expectations! From check in with Jason to check out, my stay was fabulous. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. My view from the 26th floor overlooked the city. I love the walk-in shower and the huge closet. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were cozy. The concierge, like... More

We bid for this hotel on priceline and paid $80 per night. We had a fantastic view of the river and the lake from our room. We were taking a short vacation in the area, but it was obvious that the majority of the people staying there were business travelers. There is very little parking in the area and the... More

This is one of the biggest Hyatt Hotels in the US. The room is very good and clean. Attended to a meeting in the Hotel's Convention Center - That is Giga too. The elevators get crowed several times during the day, due to the peolple attending to the convention center. The location is perfect, close to all shops and in... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The only thing that I found unusual was when the bellman came upstairs to deliver my luggage, he was accompanied by a supervisor of some sort. As it was late at night, this might have been done for security reasons. It could have also been done for liability reasons or for... More

The Hyatt Regency is the definition of a convention hotel... offering everything that a convention-goer would want. However, I was not there for a convention. Just a single traveler looking for a good location to see the attractions that Chicago has to offer. The room was nicely appointed, the views were spectacular, and the service was friendly and efficient. The... More

While the location is great, this hotel is difficult to navigate due to the two towers that only connect on certain floors. Room service was awful. Food was cold, there was a hair on my tray and the $38 lamb chops had to be chewed off the bone because only a butter knife was provided. The hotel was also not... More

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Chicago again this past weekend, and I was a bit curious as to what type of trip I would encounter this time around. I love this property, and our king sized bed was comfortable. The view was fantastic. We had a city view and were up on the 11th floor of the west tower.... More

I am in general a Hyatt fan but I was not so pleased with this property. It is definitely not one of their top tier locations, more like the Hyatt Place line. Check in via Kiosk lends to that lower end feeling. The decor, lighting and color schemes are simple, dark and grey/brown; it’s kind of depressing. I've heard that... More

Thank you so much for your feedback. We value guests opinions and feel that collecting information on TripAdvisor is very important to our continued authentic hospitality service goals. My apologies that the fast tracked Kiosk checkin gave you that opinion. We found that offering this service to guests that are in a hurry has become very helpful to business travelers.... More

I know that flagship hotels like the Hyatt Regency are supposed to be able to handle conferences and such, but they made it look easy! From having session rooms mapped out, to having plenty of staff available to guide you, everything was top notch! It is difficult to single any one person out, since they were all consistently polite and... More

Recently spent the weekend at the Hyatt Regency meeting friends from Michigan. From check in with Avi, to help to our room, top notch. Our room was on the 14th floor & overlooked the front of the hotel & the Hancock building. Fantastic view. The room was probably one of the largest I've been in except for the Four Seasons... More
