Have stayed at this location a number of times. Things are going downhill. Two stays in June. First time, bathroom plumbing , wifi, and check in issues. Second time, erroneous mini bar charges to my bill. I can't say that I recommend this place at this time.

We stayed here for the July 4th weekend and it was great! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! It's hotel is within walking distance to the river, the mile and the loop. Plenty of places to eat close around. The hotel has a "BIG" Bar that has a good assortment of "bar" food and excellent variety of drinks. Additionally it's close to the... More

After having read bad reviews on this website, I was worried about staying here. But it was a wonderful experience, I had amazing service from all members of staff, that I dealt with and they were all very helpful. I even had the reception calling me to check on me, when I forgot to remove the do not disturb sign.... More

We last stayed at the Hyatt several years ago around Chirstmas. We remembered the hotel as warm and family friendly - a well decorated large open lobby. We were surprised to see that the open lobby had been replaced by a huge bar. The hotel no longer seemed welcoming, but rather like every other major hotel catering to the business... More

This was an overall great stay. I loved my room and the view. The maid service was fantastic, and most of the employees were fantastic. The location couldn't be better. You can walk to Millennium Park, the art museum, Navy Pier, and the Magnificent Mile. You can take a bus to the aquarium and to the science museum. I would... More

Was not overly impressed. Stayed 4 nights during a conference and the place was packed - constant flow of people and long waits for elevators and the such. The staff is helpful, but not overly friendly at all. It's all business here! Upgraded to Regency Club - expected to be on that floor as well, but we were not. Basically... More

And that is an understatement. We were here during a very crowded weekend. It is understandable, but not excusable, that hotel services were not what they should have been. After all, they did take all the reservations (and money). Having said that, the caliber of the individuals employed at this hotel is the poorest I have ever seen, and this... More

Stayed here for 7 nights. Lobby looks like a railway station. When there's 2000 rooms in a hotel, don't expect service. If you want service, 1) set expectations low & 2) be prepared to pay. Everything is organized like a well-oiled machine, check in/ out & housekeeping. Efficient, unfriendly & no flexibility. I upgraded myself to a so-called city view... More

I stayed at this hotel for a conference. It was nice to not have to leave the hotel when it was raining to get to our meetings. Once we learned the layout of the hotel, it was easy to get around. Just wish things were not so expensive. Service was great! Did hear room noise from the next room over... More

I stayed here for a conference and for the price I paid, it was subpar. Service was great, but the room was dusty and the carpet floor wasn't that clean. The hotel restaurant was also terribly overpriced.
