Hotel was energetic, well staffed and a star for its attention to both business and family trips. Views were spectacular from the East Tower's higher floor levels of the Chicago River and downtown. Personnel was attentive and always knowledgeable. Food at the restaurants on site and its own market was exceptional, with service being outstanding.

This is a rather typical corporate hotel, but with good service. We arrived at 10:30 A.M. and were able to check in with a group of over 20 rooms. That is remarkable in a big city. And we were granted late check out on Sunday (1:00 P.M.), also remarkable. Service was invariable friendly. Lunch at the hotel was so so,... More

Very nice and clean hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location in downtown Chicago within walking distance of many attractions and shopping. Only complaints would be parking is way too expensive I believe its $67 a night, as well as the drinks in the bar $15.50 for 1 mojito, and the layout of the hotel is a bit... More

Stayed here during a convention. (Walker Stalker) Hotel is very well taken care of. Staff is very friendly and always was there to help. Ice Machines were down on multiple floors but fixed the next day. There is no pool at this location, which I thought was odd. Restaurants were better than most hotels I have been to. Mini-marts were... More

This hotel was great! Walking distance to plenty of great restaurants, yes...even in the cold! You can walk to Navy Pier as well! It's a short walk from the South Shore Train/Metra Station as well. Grace, at check-in, was very friendly and genuinely excited to be at work. The 'incidental' HOLD on your credit/debit card will be $75 a night... More

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was there for a convention and the hotel layout was a bit confusing. It took me almost the entire time to figure my way around. Good food, but VERY expensive. I realize it's downtown Chicago, so I do understand.

This is my second time at this location. Both trips have been for business. Great location near plenty of easily walkable restaurants. The room is laid out very well for the business person. Hotel provides bars and food for most attendees. Fitness center is okay but no pool or jacuzzi. After long business meetings, a jacuzzi would be nice. Otherwise,... More

We stayed for a convention. Vallet was really expensive, even for Chicago area. Parking garage next to the hotel was a better option. Staff was friendly, but the restaurant inside hotel had extremely slow service. We waited 30 minutes sitting before anyone greeted us. It wasn't overly busy either. The hotel walls, like others mentioned are very thin, we didn't... More

This hotel was conveniently located to everything, even in the winter. Because it was heavily snowing we took a short taxi ride to the Shedd (which was easily arranged at the hotel) we walked back to the hotel from the Art Institute and The Bean (both around only 10 minutes away). We also enjoyed shopping the beautiful and historic original... More

Overall, the hotel was nice. It wasn't clearly marked for the dance convention that we atteneded nor were the staff very knowledgeable about what was happening at the hotel. Three things that I will complain about: 1. The walls in the rooms are paper thin. I was up all night long from the room on one side. At about 4am... More
