We were booked at this hotel for a long weekend 7of us (Friday-Monday) we arrived at the hotel from Florida to check in and the front desk told us that they have moved our reservation to downtown Chicago, We did book this over 6 months ago. They said they called me that morning, But we were traveling and of course... More

Great safe location for concerts and other events at the United Center. Great area restaurants with free hotel shuttle service. Room accommodations were excellent, received free upgrade at check-in. Check out hotel nightly specials as some include parking.

I stayed there for a total of three nights. On the morning that I was checking out, I noticed that a bag full of my personal belongings (which I had purchased during my stay there) was no longer in my room. After contacting the manager of the hotel he said that he searched the entire premises and could not find... More

So you're at the Medical District...where do you stay? The Marriott. Enough said. Perfectly fine, from a Marriott perspective, not so hot, newly renovated room was nice, but leave the room and the hotel is stripped down like a Courtyard or a Hampden Inn. Problems with the heat (seems to be an issue in other reviews as well). Staff was... More

If you need to be near the Medical Complex or the University of Illinois at Chicago, then come here. Otherwise, there is nothing special about this property. While it is a full service facility, it feels more like a limited service hotel, because of its small restaurant and tiny fitness center. Room was fine, and housekeeping was good. The restaurant... I was here for 3 nights for business. The facility is obviously dated. The rooms are not quiet, all hallway conversations are heard easily even with the ac unit fan on high. I'll get back to that. First thing on check in I noticed no shampoo or conditioner. Ok, it happens, so I head to the lobby and the front... More

The best of Marriott @ Medical district is superb bedding - mattress and pillows which making your night is wonderful , sleep tight and relieving stress. Other facilities is as good as 4 stars hotel should be. Don't expect about service as much and you've to pick up your baggage to the room same as other hotels in the US.

Horrible experience. Despite there being a thermostat in our room, it did nothing to regulate the temperature. It was FREEZING in our room for two nights and the staff's solution was to bring us another blanket and completely turn off the thermostat. Additionally, despite not having a car or parking a car or giving ANY indication that I was parking... More

Never have I had such a horrible experience in my adult life!! The hotel is mediocre.. But to top everything... The front desk staff's service was reprehensible! My flight was delayed and on the ground in Phila for 3 hours... Making us a late arrival to the hotel. Ok, they gave away the room, fine. But, I was informed that... More

The property itself was conveniently located and in good shape. But 2 days after I checked out (I only stayed 1 night), they posted a charge to my Amex for a restaurant I never even entered. I called Accounting who promised a review and an email the same day. Didn't happen. I called the GM 2 days later, who promised... More
