Great location, very friendly staff. Jonathan H. was very helpful when our room keys didn't work and when the a/c was broken. He solved everything very quickly, which was much appreciated. Would recommend to friends for sure. Siobhan in Kitty's was very friendly as well!

The line to check in was excruciatingly long. The hotel public areas were always over crowded and unpleasant. After finally getting checked in my daughter and I were struggling with our luggage as several bell stand attendants watched. I had to go up the the bell stand and ask for help. The room looked nice, however, it was not very... More

Jonathan Hickerson didn't hesitate to listen to our concerns and provided excellent customer service. He is a prime example of the professionalism that is expected of a Hilton hotel. We would definitely select to stay at a Hilton property for any business or personal trips.

I was in Chicago on business in mid-July. Sadly, the Palmer House Hilton (where I usually stay) did not have the government rate available. So I decided to give the Chicago Hilton a try. Overall it was good, but the Executive Lounge could be better. - When I entered my room, I noticed an odor. Once I entered the bathroom... More

The most pleasant hotel stay in years! The staff was efficient and respectful, I felt like a VIP! Small glitch with the room key was handled quickly by hotel security. Housekeeping was wonderful! My first choice of hotels in Chicago!

This hotel is on Michigan avenue just a few minutes walk from Millennial Park, Shedd Aquarium, and the Fields museum. There is easy access to the rail system so you can avoid high taxi fares and the traffic. There are three places to eat on-site, my favorite was the Irish pub Kitty O'Sheas. There are all the services you'd expect... More

Stayed here two weeks ago for 3 nights. Lovely hotel, lots of history, good amenities. Well placed to visit sights in Chicago. Our room was nice, it was a family room with two king size beds and two bathrooms which was great when we all wanted to get ready at the same time! Staff really friendly and helpful and no... More

Went for a quick weekend with family. Been to many hotels on Michigan Ave and I wanted to use Hilton Honors points so chose this hotel. Normally we stay on North Michigan Ave right in the center of the stores and Magnificent Mile but wanted to see and be close to the Lake since we took a friend who had... More

I live in the Chicago area and wanted to stay downtown after taking my daughter to the Taylor Swift concert. Our room was fine ... except for the keys didn't work. Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
