It is probably difficult to find a hotel near Chicago center where you don't have a wall in few meters from your window. I got such room. It was difficult to sleep due to noise at night, but I didn't understand where it came from. Every morning I had to wake up because something switched on and feeling was as... More

Our mistake for not reading the reviews of this hotel before we stayed there. Some friends and I stayed at the travelodge while we were in town for a concert. The front desk misinformed us about parking. My car was towed. We had to pay for a cab to go pay to get my car out of the lot after... More

I stayed at this hotel in August 2010 as part of my trip. The location is very good with most attractions and the city center at a walking distance. For the Navy pier and the magnificent mile you"ll probably better off with taking the train with a station located a block away. The rooms were nothing fancy but met our... More

I came to Chicago to run the half marathon. This hotel was the perfect location for that, literally a block from the start & finish line at Grant Park. Though I wasn't as concerned with how great the room would be since I wouldn't be spending much time in it, I was pleasantly surprised anyway about how large the room... More

Location is good, but hotel has to be either renovated or closed. This was my first trip to US and this is the only hotel I visited, therefore I can compare the price/quality only with European hotels. Maybe that's a standard quality in US? If it is Ok for you to stay in a room, where everything is very old,... More

Very friendly and helpful doorman and front desk. Room was more like a double room with two beds and two TVs. It had an area with a sink, microwave and frig. The room was clean and bathroom newly remodeled. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from Buckingham Fountain. When we arrived, the remote for one of the... More

245PM Checked In......was made to wait till 415 before I got a room. Was tired after an international flight, so was sleeping in the lobby on a chair with my luggage as a foot rest. The clerk Ken, was absolutely the worst customer service person I've ever come accross in my life. Not only was he extremely rude and cold,... More

To begin with I made the mistake of booking through an internet booking site, thus paying 50% more than most of the guests for the same or lesser rooms. My fault, not the hotel's, but it doesn't help. While the website advises that the hotel is "close to Union Station" it is in fact a full mile away. Check-in was... More

Stayed in this property for few night in our holiday. Our room was small, dard and facing the back of the building. Moreover, our room was noisy since all the ACs from the nearby buildings have they coolers in this part of the building, therefore there was constant humming. The room was barely cleaned and sheets where worn. The bathroom... More

Went there Mon-Fri last week with two small children. First of all even through the website said free breakfast there is NOT. Asked why, rudly told they do not do that anymore. Would have gone somewhere else that was 10 more a night if I had know that (if you have kids you understand why) The room was small, at... More
