I recently stayed at Travelodge Chicago for my most recent visit to the city, and I must that my experience was amazing! A trip to a first rate city like Chicago deserves Third World charm. That is Travelodge Chicago. I knew that luxury beckoned as I stepped over the panhandler sleeping in front of the entrance. It was at the... More

Read several poor reviews but ours was very nice. The main floor was renovated a bit but the building is old and rooms were less updated. Doesn't mean they weren't clean though! It would have been great to know the history of the building. The staff was VERY helpful with directions and the parking garage staff was just a helpful... More

Things that need improving: There were 5 of us (3 adults, a baby and a toddler) and we stayed for 9 DAYS. We all bathed... More

I had been there 3 years ago and I noticed the lobby had been remodeled, it looks nice! But the rooms r still old. Small rooms with no iron or ironing board and the comforter was dirty, but it was good other than that. Except parking. No hotel parking 😟

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
