Very good service, the internet was very slow but we didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't a big deal. The staff was very nice and professional. The room was on the small side but well furnished and very comfortable.

The lobby is pretty tired and uninviting. Check in was extremely slow and manual. The hotel is connected to a nice casual restaurant next door. Room was pretty large, It actually looked like it had once been two rooms and as a result it was a bit awkward with a long space between the bed and end of the room.... More

I like the Travelodge. It is in a building that has apparently been a hotel for decades and it is showing its age in the form of very slow elevators and some run-down looking areas. But it is clean, safe, the staff is great, and the location is perfect. Really good restaurants and other attractions within blocks, and the CTA... More

Stayed at the hotel last minute for two nights. The hotel room was spacious and had all the amenities we could need, however the room, decor and linen, including curtains were all very very tired. Exposed piping and a hole in the window didn't really impress. The bed was very comfortable though and staff were helpful although it took ages... More

first of all I must say the hotel was beautiful the room was very clean and the staff for the most part was very courteous. security was very present and very personable! it would be nice if the hotel would explain parking overnight cost more upfront. It takes away from the value when the cost to park is 30 or... More

This is a rather basic and unimproved property--a bit run down--but it is in a great downtown location and relatively inexpensive. The only problem I had during my last stay was a broken coffee maker. It is a bit noisy, near an el train line, and don't expect a view from the old dirty windows.

As the 2 grandmothers ( from Florida) bring 2 grandsons (12 and 15) to Chicago for Spring Break, the hotel was perfect. The Museums were the reason for the trip, were walking distance or a short taxi ride away. The customer service at the Travelodge was excellent. Dave in Reservations provided the most useful information all around. Everyone at the... More
