Stayed here last week over Spring Break. The hotel's best asset is its location. It is very conveniently located just about 3-4 blocks from the train station, the Lincoln Park Zoo & Park (free) and several other amenities such as restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and were happy to have chosen this location. The... More

My son and I went on our first trip to Chicago to visit DePaul University. Days Inn Chicago was one of the recommended hotels through the DePaul website. I called several hotels and Days Inn offered a great rate. I opted for the larger room, which included 2 queen beds and a fridge. Usually, hotels look better in the photos... More

I visited Chicago for about 5 days in October 2011 on the weekend which happened to conflict with the Chicago Marathon, so many of the downtown Chicago hotels were booked up. I ended up staying here at the Days Inn for 2 nights because of its proximity to Diversey station which took me downtown pretty quickly (~15-20 minutes depending on... More

The location of this hotel is the best part. It's a couple of blocks from the CTA brown line, a 10 minute cab ride down Lake Shore dr to Navy Pier /downtown and it's near good shopping on Halstead with a variety of good eats also. The hotel had free wifi w a good signal. Continental breakfast included in the... More

After our stay in New Orleans, we are easy to please when it comes to lodgings: clean, safe, functioning wifi, and possibly a filling breakfast? Yes, please! Did Days Inn Chicago provide these? That they did. The hotel is an old building that seems to have been restored, but maintains the labyrinthe hallways that are ill-marked and make finding your... More

Thank you for choosing the Days Inn Chicago for your recent stay in Chicago. We greatly appreciate your positive comments. We take feedback very seriously and internally address items that come up in reviews and see how we can improve upon them. I would like to comment that as a city property we just don't have our own parking. We... More

Booked a business room for a fun weekend. Many places within walking distance. Great resaurants, music clubs, comedy clubs, shopping. I like the neighborhood. The rooms were clean and the front desk was helpful. Only reason not 5 star was noisey furnace/heater, it really roared when it kicked in, and noisey cleaning crew. I know they have a hard job... We spent just one night at this hotel while in Chicago. Location is fantastic if you're in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview area of town. Valet parking was reasonably priced; we turned the car over and walked everywhere. However, our room was one of the smallest and most uncomfortable I've stayed in. We had a double/full size (not queen) bed, with horrible... More

I'm staying in this hotel right now. They say on their site they have access to a health club - they DON'T. One of the major reasons I booked the hotel was because their website says they have access to a health club right next door - we're travelling for 6 months then going home to get married and it's... Thank you for choosing the Days Inn Chicago for your recent stay in Chicago! I'm truly sorry about the health club situation! We've had a fantastic relationship with Bally Total Fitness for many years. A few months ago LA Fitness purchased the clubs. Since then I have been working on a new agreement with the new owners. We didn't immediately... More

Finding a hotel in Chicago isn't like choosing one along the interstate. This one was a winner, with all the charm of an older boutique hotel, wonderful service and thoughtful amenities. Due to the age of the property, I don't know if the rooms are big enough for families, but it's a charming retreat for a couple and a I... More

If you need to be in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, you could not find a more convenient or comfortable place than this. It is located in a vibrant part of the city with lots of restaurants, stores and upscale neighborhood businesses. It is safe, clean, and the staff is very helpful and available. If you like a nice,... More
