What beautiful gem! The property offers lots of history, architectural design, great location and most importantly excellent customer service. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Blackstone and would highly recommend it.

Part of the Marriott chain and has some charm to it unlike the larger conference hotels in Chicago. Good size rooms but not so well equipped and personally would have liked a fridge in the room. Free wifi if you are a Marriott member. Downside for me is that it is further south than I generally like to be so... More

Not your run of the mill Renaissance. This property was just plain beautiful. My only complaint is I was only able to stay one night. As always I appreciate the upgrades as a platinum member. Do a web search and you'll enjoy the history that this building has experienced from gangsters to Presidents.

First off, it is such a beautiful hotel and so fun to wander and see the architecture! The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating! My room was beautiful and spacious with a stunning... More

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was every morning at 4:30, I was woke up by the garbage truck. The room was great , large, clean and an amazing shower. Staff was excellent.and the bar had amazing drinks. The ladies who ran Starbucks were a hoot!

Hello, Ms. Schrogan, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review! We are thrilled that you enjoyed the hotel, the room, the bathroom and the team, but very sorry that you had to endure an early morning wake up. This is the place to stay if you are travelling to Chicago. The location is excellent and the architecture is stunning. They did an amazing job preserving the history while still offering every modern essential you need. BUT best of all is the staff! everyone I encountered was friendly and extremely helpful I highly recommend this hotel based on that... More

I recently stayed 5 nights at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone for a first class experience. The rooms are gorgeous with comfortable beds and white lines and comforters; premium finishes and creature comforts. The room was very large for a regular room, with a large desk with readily accessible power options and and direct network... More

Booked via Hotwire for $145 a night, plus tax. The hotel has been beautifully redone, and is very unique. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are beautiful. White marble floors with striking black and white wallpaper. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

The rooms were exceptionally nice and clean. The view from our room was like looking into a mechanical outdoor menagerie. Old looking, and metal rusted air handler boxes. The restaurant was nice, but expensive. I don't think this hotel will be high on my list for the next visit.

I have stayed and continue to stay at a lot of Marriott properties (Platinum Premier, Lifetime Platinum) for both business and pleasure. I average over 200 nights a year so I get the opportunity to experience a lot of properties and staffs. The Renaissance Blackstone has become my "go to" place in Chicago. It has a great location for experiencing... More
