Was here just one night to attend a trade show at McCormick Place. Nice location next to parks and lots of activity. Was traveling alone and wandered down to the restaurant which is apparently quite popular with locals. On a Monday night it was quite crowded. My main issue with the restaurant is that for a single traveler -- and... More

Having had some mixed experiences with hotels in historic buildings, I was wary when I arrived at the Blackstone. The lobby was beautiful and impressive, but what surprises would the guest room hold? When I got to my room on the 6th floor, I noted that it had been beautifully updated, but the windows were adjacent to the humming HVAC... More

I first stayed there because it is close to my daughter's university. But its a great location overall - right on the lake, the park, easy walking everywhere and gray for public transpiration. Plus - rooms are big, beautiful, immaculate.

Romantic night downtown for us. The staff was exceptional from the doorman to the Concierge Lounge. Smaller rooms typical of historic properties but what it lacked in size it made up for in luxury. The bedding was extravagant, loved having a mini-bar. The bathroom was cutey-cute cool. LOVE LOVED the lobby, the staircase, the fixtures, the pool table. One of... More

Classic and chic at the same time, this hotel offered the best of Chicago for us. Ambiance, but substance also. Breathtaking view of Lake Michigan, Grant Park and surrounding areas-growing up in Michigan, I've seen plenty of lake views, but this was spectacular. Pay the extra for the view, it is worth it. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable-roomy... More

We booked through CAA and stayed here for four nights in September 2014 for a girlfriends' getaway. The hotel is well located across from Grant Park and near Millenniun Park with a lovely historical decor, a nice change from more modern style hotels. Our room had been renovated and had a beautiful and spacious bathroom. The concierge staff helped us find... More

My Husband and I had a wonderful time in your hotel. Thank for the excellent concierge Rory threatt. We really appreciate your hospitality. The club level was worth the stay. I have one need for improvement is the Mercat A La Planxa Restaurant. We waited an hour for food that never came, just horrible customer service. The next day we... More

My girlfriend and I are both Chicago natives, but stayed at The Blackstone for a weekend of touristy activities. The location simply cannot be beat, located right across the street from Grant Park, and a just a short walk away from the museums. As you walk in there is a sense of awe, it's the kind of luxury you should... More

fabulous - 19th floor overlooking the city for 5 nights - spacious room, decorated beautifully, historic, clean, all amenities (although no pool, which we did miss, but there was so much to do in the city I would have had little time for swimming anyway!). Welcoming, ambient lobby & great staff. A little bit of a walk to attractions near... More

I planned a surprise long weekend getaway for my husband's birthday and we stayed here for 3 nights. We loved the location, right on Michigan ave, across the street from Grant park, close to buckingham fountain. Our room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable! The concierge was very helpful and got us priority seating one morning at... More
