We stayed in a standard room at a special discounted rate through trip advisor. The room was extremely clean and nice design. I didn't utilise any of the services of the hotel, though they did provide free internet connection. The only problem we had was accidentally turning off fridge at the safety board, but a quick phone call and 5... more

I really liked this hotel, it was very fancy and very nice. My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend and I would stay there again. The room was a very nice size, it wasn't crammed. There were two things I didn't like though. One was that the sheets or blankets weren't very soft, I was laying on my stomach... more

The service was wonderful. Every member of the staff was very attentive and genuinely nice. The room was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The location was perfect. A few blocks away from both Chicago Union Station and Orange Line station, the Art Institute, Grant Park, and Millenium Park. The tapas bar in the hotel was pleasant with a very nice... more

I am very particular about hotels and this was absolutely one of the best experiences I have ever had, especially for the bargain price. I booked the room on the Marriott website for $159 a night and even received a gift card for $25 visa card per night, making this an amazing deal. I took the blue line to the... more

Excellent staff and wonderful accomodations. Very current rooms with awesome beds and kick butt dimmer lighting in the bathroom for a relaxing bath. Just be sure to park down the street in the garages and save big versus the $48 or so parking at the hotel, other than that, great 7 day stay! Walk to almost everything!! more

We stayed at The Blackstone with my husband for three nights and we absolutely loved this hotel. It's right on Michigan Avenue, very close to all the main attractions. The staff was friendly. The lobby is gorgeous! There's a fireplace/lounge area in the lobby. Very cozy. You can have coffee in the am or a drink in pm. The hotel... more

First, let me say the front desk staff was wonderful. My colleague and I were a little down in the dumps and tired after leaving very early in the morning and working all day. The person at the front desk noticed this and made checking in fun. Later, I learned I failed to bring cuff links for my shirt the... more

I was leaving for London early the next morning, and booked this based on TripAdvisor Reviews. As my cab rounded the corner, I noted nothing super special about the building. That being said, this was THE NICEST HOTEL I have ever stayed in within the city of Chicago. The lobby is FABULOUS! It's all this things I love to see... more
