My staff and I stay here every year during work at Lollapalooza. The hotel is very accommodating for our business needs. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Great attention to detail. Meer Cat is a delicious restaurant. Only drawback is no 24 hour room service, and there are limited late night restaurants nearby.

There is no complimentary buffet breakfast with the room. The restaurant is pricey. The daily room cleaning was only average. Our tissue box wasn't filled, and we weren't getting the complimentary water bottles daily. Great view. Conveniently located. Paid wifi in rooms is also irritating. No other particular complaints or compliments.

We arrived at the hotel around 5:00pm to check in. It happened to be the night of a soccer game at Soldier Field so there was a huge (think 500+ people) crowd on each side of the entrance waiting on the teams to leave. The area to valet park was blocked so we had to park further down the street.... More

My husband and I took our "babymoon" to Chicago and stayed at The Blackstone (we booked through Hotwire). The hotel itself is gorgeous and the beautiful lobby had a lot of dark wood to make it feel cozy and posh at the same time. We got to the hotel well ahead of check-in time and figured we would be able... More

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the best time!! This hotel is a gem! The building was beautiful and our room could not have been more inviting. We also enjoyed being able to watch the sailboats from our window. The location was great for seeing all the major sites. We were steps away from lush parks, museums and... More

I recently stayed at the Blackstone Hotel Chicago. Beautiful hotel, no doubt about that, but my experience at check-in was less than satisfactory. I believe the lady who checked me in was Kat, (short red hair). She was extremely unwelcoming. I thrive on great customer service which she was incapable of providing. I've gotten better service at three-star properties which... More

Stayed here with the family on a summer road trip. Great staff. Great Location. Great Hotel. Our room was on the 23rd floor and had great views of the lake, Navy Pier and Buckingham fountain. The room was incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a shame on the name of 4 start hotel. We spent good money to book 2 rooms for 2 days and were excited after reading the reviews. But there was nothing right about them after reaching there - 1. Did not get to checkin until 5:00 pm, One of the rooms was not ready. that spoiled our... More

Some friends and I stayed at this hotel. I had stayed here once before while at a conference. My room this last weekend was okay. The bathroom was super nice, but the bedroom area was looking a little worn around the edges. A couple of my friends ended up on a higher floor and they had a much nicer room.... More

We stayed here because we ran at the BTN Big 10K. It was a short walk to the race next to Soldier Field. The room was a great size. The only issue is that I didn't like the sliding door for the bathroom that has a frosted window in it. It also doesn't close tight. There is a Starbucks downstairs.... More

Staying in Downtown / The Loop

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
