Very nice place and well located near the lively neighborhouds for dining and having a drink, all is in walking distance! Also near to the CTA (metro-) station that'll bring you all over town. The room we stayed in (Das Porzellanzimmer) was kinda small but clean and nicely decorated. The bed was good. We had a private shower and that... More

This is a sentence you will never hear at this B & B. Instead you will be served a tasty breakfast with french bread, fruit and a variety each day. There is also some cereals available. The thing I liked was that breakfast was served at a communal table and you can chat with the other guests. It is nicely... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the House of Two Urns on our recent visit to Chicago. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts superb. This B&B is ideally situated near a multitude of restaurants and a subway stop for an easy commute to all Chicago attractions. Ask about the Architecture Boat Tour if staying here.

Our breakfast on each of two days was outstanding. Both owners were welcoming and solicitous in helping us with sightseeing and travel plans. The location in Wicker Park was perfect - close to everything yet far enough out of downtown to be quiet and safe. The decor was eclectic, and our one complaint was that a "shared" bathroom was in... We chose this as an alternative to staying in downtown Chicago and we were not disappointed. Firstly it feels like you're staying in somebody's home not a B & B - really nice personal feel including interesting paintings, list of DVDs you can watch for free etc The rooms themselves are really comfortable and the location is ideal for anyone... We found ourselves excited to wake up each morning for an allergen-free (in our case, dairy-free), breakfast and pastries. As well, the owners were more than helpful in helping us plan our trips around Chicago. It was a wonderful stay, we've already recommended them to our friend's.

I've stayed at the House of Two Urns twice; I just booked another reservation for a coming trip. I find the whole experience something I actually look forward to, something that I can rarely say about a lodging for a business trip. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and with a art-oriented decor. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful,... More

We travel to Chicago regularly to visit family and have tried a number of lodging options but really enjoyed our stat at the house of two urns. Very comfortable, roomy, clean and well appointed room, quiet location close to many restaurants and shopping and an excellent breakfast. We plan to return.

We had a great time. The decor is really great, the hosts are nice, and the location (in Wicker Park, which seems like Greenwich Village and the Upper East Side all rolled into one) terrific. It's a great walkaround neighborhood, with a lot of interesting stores and music clubs; and getting downtown is also easy. I love the Victorian decor.... More

My nephew and I came in from Iowa for an all-Chicago experience to celebrate his high school graduation. We came for a Cubs game and a Blackhawks playoff game, so we chose this location because it was central to the activity we were experiencing. But didn't expect the metropolitan, delightful experience we had while there! Literally blocks within a plethora... More
