Our family of 5 stayed at the inn in May while in town for our daughter's graduation from college. Convenient location. Quiet neighborhood. GREAT breakfasts. We felt at home from the minute we arrived. The Inn is decorated with the owner's extensive and eclectic art collection--very unique and fun. We wish we could have stayed a few more days, it... We had a big room in the attic that fit our whole family...4 and visiting guests. The grounds were great with an edible garden right next to it. Free parking and delicious breakfasts were some of the many amenities. They passed on their discount to us for popular tours. A terrific place to stay, We'll be back!

We chose this B & B based on TA reviews and it's proximity to the subway. Loved being able to use the guest kitchen/laundry and sitting room. The whole building was charming and filled with interesting art and books. Breakfast each morning was gourmet quality- Kapra is an awesome cook, such light muffins. Conversation around the breakfast table was a... More

Our hosts welcomed us with open arms when we got to Two Urns. We were shown to a fine room, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The shared bathroom was impeccable. While we didn't use the kitchen -- which seemed quite convenient and fully functional --, we enjoyed beautiful, home-cooked, tasty breakfasts. The location, a less than five-minute walk from a... A wonderful place for an extended stay: great breakfasts; great Wi-Fi; full self-catering available in a well-appointed kitchen; a very good location within minutes of the sub-way & buses to almost everywhere! Look no further. The staff were interested and helpful with advice & bookings. Breakfasts with a succession of new guests from around the States & elsewhere were fun... More

Everything about this B&B in wicker park appealed to me. The individual rooms, the location close to, but far enough from downtown. The breakfasts cooked the first few days by Bob while Barbara welcomed us were lovely and the chance to speak to other guests. When they left, Sara stepped up and continued where they'd left off - booking tickets... More

My wife and I recently stayed three nights here. All three breakfasts were very good. The room was very nice and the bed quite comfortable. The shared bathroom was kept very clean. Every time I wanted to use it, it was available and clean. The House is filled with Chicago period decorations and many uniquely designed pieces of furniture.that Our... More

This was a unique, and interesting place to stay. I was made to feel very comfortable and welcomed by the staff. The artwork in the main common room was beautiful, and the owners were very friendly. Breakfast was served at a large table with other guests, which provided nice conversation, and fellow traveller tips. The owner was happy to join in... More

The convenient location was the primary reason for selecting the House of Two Urns, but the comfortable room, warm welcome and delicious breakfast make this a preferred place to stay on future trips to Chicago.

We stayed for 4 days. The main house is across the street from the property where we were located which had three rooms plus common areas. Downside to our room - steep stairs and a bit cramped, but just in the room we stayed in. Upside - lovely shared kitchen and common areas for those of us who were across... More
