My teen daughter and I made our first B&B stay here and loved it! The breakfasts were amazing and tasty! So close to both bus stops and El stops, it made it easy to be close to the city without the noise and hustle! We will definitely be staying there again when visiting Chicago. The rooms were very accommodating with... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the House of Two Urns. They offer a good discount for longer stays of 3 nights or more. Since my husband and I had both been to Chicago before, we had no interest in staying downtown - I prefer residential areas, in general. This doesn't mean it was inconvenient, however. The house is minutes... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at The House of Two Urns for three nights last week, and had nothing short of a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Maxwell Street room (one of the smaller rooms), which was cozy and welcoming, with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. This room has a shared bathroom, which was always spotless; we had... More

Kapra and Miguel provide a complete, comfortable, organized, and interesting B & B experience. Located on a quiet residential street very close to mass transit and the freeway, their turn-of-the century properties have absolutely everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen to guidebooks and original artwork. Plus there's the fabulous gourmet breakfasts and the bonus of "secret gardens" and... More

This is a lovely B&B in the vibrant, hipster neighborhood of Wicker Park. My friend and I shared the Porcelainzimmer room here, and although it's small, the room was perfect for what we needed. There is ample living room, kitchenette, and outdoor deck space for those wanting to spend more time at the B&B than out wandering about. The location... More

I can't say enough good things about House of Two Urns and our experience. Room: We stayed in the Eastlake room which was absolutely perfect for the two of us. It was comfortable and cozy and we loved having access to a kitchen, dining room, and adorable balcony. Instead of coming back to a sterile generic hotel room at the... More

I don't know where to start, but I probably won't be able to list everything I loved about this B&B. While I haven't stayed at a B&B in a decade or so, this one is by far the best I've ever experienced. The place was CLEAN and very well appointed. The service was excellent and the breakfast was suPERB! Our... More

The hostess was wonderful. I was greeted and shown my room in a brisk and efficient manner, while also getting details about the local attractions/good eats. The bus and metro systems were nearby and there was parking on the street for my car. I had no problems going in and out as I pleased and felt very comfortable around the... More

Very nice place and well located near the lively neighborhouds for dining and having a drink, all is in walking distance! Also near to the CTA (metro-) station that'll bring you all over town. The room we stayed in (Das Porzellanzimmer) was kinda small but clean and nicely decorated. The bed was good. We had a private shower and that... More

Sorry you aren't used to big city prices, but your average rate was $110/night with the discount you received for booking on our website directly for your 3 night stay with us. This is a great way to keep some change in your pocket. When booking through an online travel site the discount I give guests goes to those distribution... More
