My husband and I visit Chicago every few years and this is the 1st B&B that we have stayed in. Ray and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. If we were to stay in an B&B again, we would probably stay at Ray's. The atmosphere is unpretentious with a fun, nostalgic decor. The location was perfect for us, close... More

Great customer service. Amazing breakfasts. Unique guest rooms. Free parking on the street. Nice area to meet the locals. I even liked Ray's cat "Naggie". 18 years young. She is not allowed in the guest rooms. You will find her napping on the tv cable box or in the public areas. Ray's is an easy walk to the train station.... More

Ray's Bucktown B&B redefines eclectic ... it's a very fun, funky little place with whimsical touches at every turn. The service is warm, friendly and efficient. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We loved the breakfast which included a wide array of choices and lots of healthy options including tons of fresh fruit. Bucktown is a terrific neighbourhood... More

We recently stayed at Ray's and found it to be a really good choice. The breakfasts are to die for, the service is great, whether you need info on anything or some special attention, and as an added bonus, it is located in one of the hippest areas of the City. There is a lot of local fun activity in... More

Ray and his staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were as good as a hotel! Recommend this to anyone visiting Chicago. The neighborhood is also safe and in walkable distance to cafés and restaurants.

My husband and I were lucky to secure a room at this B&B on a recent trip to Chicago, and based on our experience we will definitely be back. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. In addition to amazing gourmet breakfast choices and cheerful and accommodating staff, there were many extra special touches, such as a heated bathroom... More

My daughter and I stayed in the Cardinal Room-the one with the bathroom across the hall from the room-because it was the last one available on Saturday night of Thanksgiving weekend. What I thought would be an inconvenience and merely tolerable turned out to be one of our best B & B adventures yet. The Cardinal Room is in on... More

Ray's Bucktown BnB is an utter delight. We stayed in the East Room which is dark, quiet, and features a luxurious bath. The breakfasts were amazing and the conversations around the breakfast table were a wonderful way to begin each day. The decor is funky and colorful with collections of cameras, artwork, and pottery in the main rooms. Clean and... More
