My husband and I were lucky to secure a room at this B&B on a recent trip to Chicago, and based on our experience we will definitely be back. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. In addition to amazing gourmet breakfast choices and cheerful and accommodating staff, there were many extra special touches, such as a heated bathroom... More

This is the first time I have stayed at a bed and breakfast. Great location to walk around or catch cabs or train. Wonderful cook to order breakfast and staff was great. Staff has lots of suggestions for things to do be sure and ask

My daughter and I stayed in the Cardinal Room-the one with the bathroom across the hall from the room-because it was the last one available on Saturday night of Thanksgiving weekend. What I thought would be an inconvenience and merely tolerable turned out to be one of our best B & B adventures yet. The Cardinal Room is in on... More

Ray's Bucktown BnB is an utter delight. We stayed in the East Room which is dark, quiet, and features a luxurious bath. The breakfasts were amazing and the conversations around the breakfast table were a wonderful way to begin each day. The decor is funky and colorful with collections of cameras, artwork, and pottery in the main rooms. Clean and... More

Have to admit, after my stay at Ray's, I HAD to read the (four total) negative reviews to find out what they were talking about. Pretty sure all four of the bad reviews mistook Ray's for somewhere else, because they make no sense. I stayed at Ray's for 10 nights on a work trip to Chicago, and my only regret... More

We just had a great stay at Ray's in Bucktown. It's so much more fun to stay in an area like this than to stick with the traditional Magnificent Mile corporate hotels. However, I would recommend avoiding the East Room. It's in the basement and a little dark and chilly. Other than our room selection, we liked everything about Ray's.... More

The B&B Ray’s is very unassuming from the street, but the moment we walked into the building it was bright, clean, and very inviting. The B&B is decorated with an awesome collection of pictures, pottery, and other knick knacks. Every shelf was full, but it wasn’t cluttered at all. The common area with the TV was nice and comfortable, and... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this lovely B and B. We arrived at the Chicago O'hare airport and called Ray for directions. Ray was very precise and volunteered to pick us up at the Weston stop on the L line. It was an easy 20- minute ride from the airport on L and Ray had arrived.... More
