This property did not live up to the marketing discription promoted on their web site. Lounge was under construction and I felt I shouyld have known that information prior to booking. My family stayed here in Feb 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Continental breakfast was convenient, just outside our room. The Amalfi is my favoriate Chicago hotel. I stay there as often as possible, though it's getting better known, and I've had to stay elsewhere a few times. I had a group of 8 stay here this weekend. Everything was first class from check-in to check out. I had to make some changes to reservation at the last minute and they handled it flawlessly.
