Smaller, nice hotel with friendly, professional staff; clean, nice decor; excellent location; and accessible self-parking down the street. Close to MI Ave, places to eat, and banks. We did not eat on site. Stayed on the 15th floor so the view was decent. A few sirens at night but that isn't anything different than any other big city I've stayed... More

This is a real interesting one! You are surrounded by skyscraping, corporate hotels. Then, you have this 'little' twenty four flour affair - actually rooms do not begin until the 10, as the earlier ones are for parking. It is perfectly situated: quiet side road but about 100 years from the Magnificent Mile with its shops and side streets filled... More

Alright, I am a Marriott Platinum Lifetime Guest, but if I were looking for a place to stay, the location alone would put me in a bed here. One block off Michigan Avenue, in the Heart of the Magnificent Mile. Garrets Popcorn Store next door, a Starbucks attached, a Dunkin Donuts across the street, a reasonable in-hotel bar, restaurants all... More

The location is excellent for visiting Chicago. Everything north and south is walkable. But the experience was made even better by the staff. They were so helpful in helping us get the most out of our family vacation. Vechaith with the front desk staff was excellent at understanding what we were looking for and helping to guide us in our... More

Enjoyed a 3 night stay with kids. Perfect location. Pool was very small. Staff made great recommendations on local restaurants. Only surprise was the $50/night parking garage charge but I guess this is typical for parking in the area. Would stay again.

We stayed in a room for four with two king size beds. Very comfy and a great night sleep after our long flight! Room was big and had a small changing area as well as the bathroom - very useful. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was one of the three elevators was out of service which made... More

We didn't have a lot of time to research where to stay with our family of 5 for a last minute trip to Chicago. We chose this hotel because it seemed nice and clean and we thought it was a great location, had a pool, offered self park, and free internet. We loved the larger 2 bed room. First-- it... More

My family of four just stayed here overnight while we had our own "Ferris Bueller Day" in the city. Hotel was very nice and in a great location, next door to a Garretts Popcorn, and only a half block off Michigan Avenues shops and tons of restaurants. Kids enjoyed pool at night, although on small side, but hey, it's a... More

This Courtyard has a great location. Only a block off of the Magnificent Mile so it is an easy walk to all the attractions. The staff was helpful. As a Marriott member I was a little disappointed that I was not recognized as one or was given a welcoming item as other do. Maybe they just don't do that. The... More

Got there late Friday night, at first I was disappointed that we were locked out and there was no bell or valet staff, but it was after midnight. Check-in staff was very helpful. Without the valet wasn't sure about the parking set-up but cleared that up the next morning. Parking garage makes up the 2nd to 9th floors. Parking garage... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
