Staying at the Ivy Boutique was a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. Walking into a lovely small lobby with a friendly doorman, great bar and friendly folks at the desk made the start of my stay great, but when I got to my room, I was blown away. The amenities and special touches made the room an amazing place... More

I was able to get a deal for this hotel on booking which made for a wonderful business trip/birthday weekend. The hotel was perfectly located. We could walk everywhere we needed to, and did, until it started to rain. Service was good. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Hamsa was truly one of the best door attendants I’ve met and gave... More

My husband and I had completed a 3wk road trip and we're finishing off in Chicago, before heading home to Ireland. Boy did we pick the right hotel (more like a luxury ultra modern apartment). We stayed in a king suite (highly recommend, the space!), which had a brilliant living room too. We also got the breakfast package, which was... More

When it fell to me to plan a couples getaway to Chicago I began searching to a great gathering place for our group of 10. We live in the Chicago-land area but splurge for a stay in the city a couple times a year. I will totally go back to Ivy! Overall the room was outstanding - clean, stylish, comfortable. The bed and pillows were amazing. The staff was accommodating. The tub and shower were great. For only a one night stay, we left feeling... More

We stayed here during a busy time so we paid $1250 U.S. for 6 nights, not including taxes. It worked out to about $300 per night Canadian. We booked a queen room through booking.com. The room was dark (1003) and we had to have the lights on at all times. No view. The room was small but nicely furnished. Only... More

We got a great rate on a last minute reservation at the Ivy. When we arrived the room seemed small and dark, so we paid a bit extra to upgrade to a larger room with a sitting area and a full wall of windows--very nice. The decor is an odd kind of modern--lots of silver and purple, but it was... More

We stayed at the Ivy this past weekend and for the most part it was great. When we arrived we were greeted and made to feel welcome. We were able to check as soon as we got there (around noon). Our room 1202 was nice it was however facing south so the view wasn't that great. The room was beautiful!... More

First let me start with the positives. The Ivy is located in the best section of Chicago, close to great shopping and restaurants. The room was very spacious and clean as we got the king bed room which is slightly larger. Room702 was located on the quiet side of the building which is always a plus in a big noisy... More

The Ivy is perfect blend of hip and functional. Quiet room, super comfortable bed. Located near plenty of good restaurants and bars. Great breakfast as well. Staff was friendly and helpful with getting back to airport.

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
