Very nice, great location, clean, and they are great on details like the free bottled water, easy wifi, lots of outlets for devices. The hotel is modern, quiet, spotless. Be sure to take the architectural boat tour while there, and avoid the hassle of a rental car by taking the "el" from the airport.

It was our third stay at the hotel, previous two were all excellent, this one did not start well and did not end well. We arrived at 18:00 to find out that, due to the glitch, our suite has been rented out, so we were offered two separate rooms with some discount. Then it turned out that it is available... More

Ignore any reviewers who hate the small rooms! Ask for a room on a higher floor and you might be rewarded with an amazing morning view of the sun hitting the gold of the Carbide and Carbon building in the loop. Wow!! My single small double room was perfectly clean, the bed was comfy and the thermostat was adjustable. You'll... More

Great hotel, friendly staff and there is a restaurant next door. Lots of other dining options close by also. Very close to all tourist spots (approx 5 min walk to millennium park and 15 to navy pier) room was quite narrow but not small. Great location. We would recommend and stay again

My wife and I were guests of this hotel from June 18 until June 20, 2015. What a great location from which to enjoy Chicago. Our room was very clean, very quiet at night, and the lobby was very beautiful. We would stay here again and again. The location is on the river, across from Trump Tower, near the intersection... After a really horrible day of travel, I arrived at the river hotel at midnight. I was hungry and tired. Room service was done for the night. However, the gentleman at the desk, Roman went out of his way to get me something to eat and totally changed my mood. After being at a conference all day, it was nice... More

Decided on a last minute weekend getaway to Chicago and ended up in River Hotel via a third party website. The hotel shares a building with Club Quarters...River is on floors 3-10 and Club Quarters is the floors above that. Common desk and check in area. I'd always shied away from CQ before and not real sure why because this... More

My husband and I spent three nights here while visiting Chicago for the first time. The location was perfect, easy access to the river, Magnificent mile and The Loop, easy walk from the L stop on the blue line from O'Hare as well. We knew we would not spend much time in the room so w just wanted something with... More

My friend and I want to stay a room that has the river view. So Roman, the gentleman at the front desk not only fulfill our wish, but also help us to locate a room that has extra sofa bed, free of charge. The room is pretty spacious and tidy. Love Love Love it !! Thanks Roman.

front desk was smiling and helpful on a rainy Chicago night. The view of the river was fun. Comfy bedding. Well kept. Great value for money. Close to trains and walkable to Blues music and great eating places.
