Stayed with husband and young son. I recommend this hotel because: 1) What drew me to choose this hotel was A) the location, close to shopping & Navy Pier, river, parks B) good online customer reviews C) extras: free breakfast & indoor pool D) Value for the price E) two rooms & two TVs! 2) Several of the staff went... I had a relatively late arrival to this hotel. The arrival experience was poor: no bellman, etc. was present to assist with luggage. When I took the elevators from the cab level to the lobby level, there was a long line at check-in. Only one person was working the front desk. Another staff member kept peeking his head out from... This hotel is located near the attractions in Chicago. It has the convenient stores just a 2mins walk downstairs. A 15 min walk to the Navy Pier and 7 mins walk to the "Magnificent Mile". I walk to the Millennium Park and the Loop and it takes me about 15mins casual walk. The hotel has the modern look and the... More

Great location, next to the Michigan River and a few blocks from the Navy Pier. Walking distance from everything, food, train, subway. Great for family and or couples. We will stay here again the next time we are in Chicago. Chicago, great get away, clean town and safe area to walk.

When asking for suggestions for our trip to Chicago, two friends suggested the Embassy Suites Lakefront. We decided to do an extended weekend trip to Chicago for Spring Break. We traveled with 3 kids under the age 11, the two of us, and my Mother-in-law. Although we were in close quarters one suite fit us just fine. The 3 kids... More

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious and accommodating. With two adults and four kids, the three sinks were extremely helpful. We had a great view of the city too. Breakfast was wonderful, although busy, it seemed to move quickly. Our only problem when staying here was the directions we were given to a... More

The location was perfect to Navy Pier and some of Michigan Ave. A quick cab ride to everywhere else. All staff was very helpful in regards to hotel information and town information. Kind of crowded at breakfast time but the lobby is beautiful. Hoping to stay here again in a few months.

We took a short weekend trip to Chicago and stayed at the Embassy Suites Lakefront. DJ checked us in, made us feel like family, and told us about all the great amenities to expect. We had no idea that all guests received free breakfasts and cocktail hour. We had a great view of the lake and a couple of nice... More

Check-in was extremely slow due to limited staffing but the gentleman at the front counter was very professional to offset the long check-in time. The room was very clean but the bathroom toilet needed additional cleaning attention. The hotel overall was a great value and comfortable to stay in. The rooms blocked out sound from other guest well. The pool... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
