The hotel was very nice. The rooms were large, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The manager's reception and breakfast were nice, but not as nice as other at other Embassy Suites in which we stay regularly. If you are given a handicap accessible room ask for extra towels because the bathroom will flood when you shower. Make sure to arrive... More

Great location near Navy Pier and across from Whole Foods. Rooms were the same as any Embassy Suites, always roomy. We had two major problems with the hotel. One was pretty much out of their control, and one was very manageable. The sounds from another room ( lots of kids ) came through our air ducts like they were rooming... More

Nice suites with thoughtful touches in the room like: -- three sinks - one in the living room, another in bathroom and another in bedroom -- great set up for families -- generous buffet breakfast with cooked to order items and many things to choose from -- great staff; very responsive front desk; every time we requested anything from housekeeping... This hotel could not have been better located. We were within walking distance of Navy Pier, Miracle Mile, downtown Chicago and so much more. We had a great view of the water and of downtown. It was FANTASTIC. The staff was great. Our only complaint was how crowded the breakfast was. We tried to go at different times and it... More

Don't take this title as an insult. Kids are the adults of tomorrow and this is a hotel where mom and dad and the kids can have a ball. Spotless room. Great view and helpful staff. The standard Embassy Suite's breakfast and afternoon reception were fine. The place was packed full of groups/families in town to tour and catch the... More

I checked into the hotel on July 26,2015 and was greeted with a smile by the two ladies at the check in counter. I was ultimately assisted by Amanda ( who was amazing). She quickly checked my family and I in and arranged for an upgrade to a room with a city view(since this was my nephew's first time in... More

The location, accommodations and most important the staff at this hotel were absolutely fantastic! My sister and I had planned this trip for sometime and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We took a trip to Chicago hoping to be able to see a few things before a ball game. First the front desk was like a person short a least. Every time you needed help it was at least a 20 minute wait to get to someone to ask. Then it depend on who you got whether they were helpful... More

Just recently got back from a nice stay in Chicago. Location of the hotel was great and within walking distance to many major attractions. Rooms were average at best especially for the price. Breakfast was good as well as cocktail hour which was a definite plus. My only complaint would be that housekeeping came so late (almost 5pm) and seemed... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
