My husband, brother and I were here for a conference last week. We stayed on the 16th floor which was pretty cool. The elevators were fast so that was always a plus. Every morning they served a great breakfast of made to order omelets or eggs any way, sausage, bacon, french toast waffles, fruit, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and a... More

Stayed there 4 nights. Room and location were great. Ambiance is lacking. It has a great atrium over the dining area/lobby as it soars 18 stories to the top floor. But the hotel does not take advantage of it. The dining area is operational for breakfast only, as it sits closed for the remainder of the day. There is a... More

We have to come to Chicago often for business. We have stayed at W, Sheraton, etc. but this was the most fun business/pleasure combo! We informed the hotel (front desk) at arrival it was out anniversary weekend...and Amanda (front desk) started by upgrading our room to a corner suite. Perfect! It was very roomy and a great view of the... More

My husband had knee surgery and being from out of town, we had to stay a few days. It was obvious to have a handicap accessible room. This was atrocious. All they did to make it ADA compliant was to remove furniture and make the bathroom larger so a wheelchair could turn around. Lets start with the bathroom. There was... More

On a recent trip to Chicago, I divided my stay in half, and this was the first of two hotels I chose. If you are familiar with Embassy Suites, you know about the good breakfasts, evening wine receptions, the extra space in each room, and table/desk provided for getting your work done. What I thought made this one stand out... More

The hotel room is really clean. The breakfast is really good. The hotel location is really near to Navy Pier, and Magnificent Mile. The public transportation to O'Hare Airport and the loop is really convenient. The hotel is really good for drinkers too

The staff is friendly and was responsive to our request for a different room away from renovating activities. The newly renovated rooms are nice, clean, and very comfortable. The ongoing renovation (9am - 6pm) did however disturb us during the day when we tried to recover from a late night out. The breakfast buffet selections and quality was standard but... More

Stayed here with a family of 5 for 4 nights. Check in was friendly with Amanda, and was happy to answer all our questions, on locations, restaurants etc. Concierge downstairs was also a wealth of information on how to get to bus stops, tourist attractions, and the Navy Pier. We had the Chicago City Pass, and found it was easy... More

Nice clean hotel with cooked to order breakfast. Friendly staff and the hotel is centrally located. Having the extra room was great since our daughter was with us and likes to watch different shows than the adults. The extra space allowed us to spread out a bit too.

Great Location, and nice hotel!! will be great when all the construction is finished! We stayed on a floor that was not yet finished. The pool is nice, but small. The breakfast and reception are great! The location is very good- walked to Navy Pier, and able to catch a cab easy to get to everything else!!

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
