Stayed here for four nights while attending z family wedding. The hotel could not be nicer from the rooms to the amenities to the friendly and knowledgeable staff. In particular, Eden Bernal, a concierge was incredibly helpful. From restaurant recommendations to booking tours she not only "knew her stuff" but took care of things right away. She made you feel... They both were polite, pleasant, and friendly to talk to. They answered all my... More

This was my first time to Chicago with my wife and 9 year old daughter. This hotel was fantastic at every level, from the rooms and staff to location. The local train ('the loop') is just around the corner, so very easy to access any part of the city and you can walk to Millenium Park. When the hotel realised... More

I'm pretty sure I lived in a dorm room that was quieter. I used the white noise machine for the first time. The room was the size of a closet and I have no idea how anyone can turn around in the bathroom. If you want a disco, this lobby is for you.

very clean accommodating hotel. I noted in reservation I had a feather allergy. They had my room all ready for me with all feathers removed. Most times I still have to call housekeeping but not here. Restaurant at hotel was very good too. Had lunch there before a meeting.

Overall the hotel is lovely (especially the foyer) but it is the staff that really make your stay. You receive a warm welcome on arrival, check in is easy, concierge helpful and breakfast worth checking out. We were lucky enough to be checked in by Adam who was friendly, attentive and helpful to all. I hope that this feedback is... More

I've stayed here many times and have always been very happy. The rooms are updated and somewhat larger than average. Nice social scene in the lobby lounge, and the restaurant is first rate. Service is outstanding, and the staff have even gone so far to arrange special receptions for groups with a large number of people staying there. I like... More

We just stayed at the W Chicago-City Center for the first time, and we were happy with our stay. The hotel has history mixed with a modern (urban) twist. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, room was kind of small, but very accommodating for a couple. The only complaint would be the surcharge to use the wi-fi in room ($14.95... More

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
