The Conrad Chicago is very well located, close to shopping, dining, and museums. We were upgraded to a room in the higher floors (room 1714) which I would recommend. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept and I'm even considering buying one for my house. The highlight for me was the service and attitude of the staff,... More

I stayed here for work, so I didn't have to pay for it. I did see how much the room normally costs, and while expensive, not bad for downtown Chicago. But also, they don't nickel and dime you for things like wifi. I did not park there but parking was ridiculously priced. But hey, it's downtown Chicago. Pros: -GREAT location.... More

Staying at the Conrad is like being snuggled by your favorite blanket. Just wonderful hotel, staff and amenities. Thank you for my time spent in Chicago, the only suggestion I would have is put a darn coffee pot in the room I like to have a cup or 2 while I am getting ready to go in the morning and... More

This hotel is AWESOME!! It is in a great location and is centrally located to everything in downtown Chicago. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and special. I will DEFINITELY be back in the immediate future

A little pricey, but a great stay. The amenities were very nice but I felt that the hotel was perhaps more expensive than warranted. But it could have been a matter of supply and demand since so many hotels were booked the weekend I was there. But the staff was great and the beds rock too.

I stayed at the Conrad for four days / three nights from May 11-14, 2015, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again during my next visit. The location is excellent--a block removed from the Magnificent Mile--check-in and check-out was a breeze, the staff extremely welcoming and helpful, housekeeping was great, and more importantly, I was very pleased with my... My company sponsored a reception on May 18 for one of our clients during the National Restaurant Association 's annual conference. The food was terrific, but the service was exceptional. I want to commend Paige for her kind and professional service. Because of her, we will be using the Conrad exclusively.

My husband and I just stayed at the Conrad for a quick getaway weekend to Chicago. We LOVED staying at the Conrad. There are so many nice hotel options in Chicago, but I am glad we chose this one. The Conrad was so beautiful - the decor, setting, and the customer service make you feel like a million bucks. The... More

The lounge overlooking the city provided a wonderful enclave to relax. The rooms are very quiet and well appointed. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a good one. The only bad mark was the breakfast experience. They seemed short on waitstaff, which made the service spotty. The food took too long to arrive and was... More

I've stayed in several hotels in Chicago. None has impressed me enough to return. That is until I stayed at The Conrad. Not only is it in the perfect location, but the rooms are excellent (the bathroom surpasses expectations for a big city hotel) and so is the service. I arrived very early on a Saturday morning and they were... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
