We decided to visit Chicago for a long weekend and decided on the Conrad. I touched base with the concierge Asya beforehand with a few requests and she was great. All my requests were honored (didn't ask for an upgrade), but requested high floor, quiet room, private balcony (paid for a balcony room), feather free room and was given just... More

This hotel has gorgeous exceptionally clean rooms! The bar menu is a bit odd but it was fun eating & drinking on their heated patio+ the staff was very helpful. The front desk staff could be friendlier is my main and only complaint especially for being such a high rated expensive hotel

The rooms are not quite as fancy as presented on the internet but they are still quite nice. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Great location downtown for Navy Pier, river cruises, site seeing, restaurants, etc.

No hotel next to a Nordstrom can be bad :)... But this hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are well maintained and spacious. While the interior is gorgeous, the location is even better. At this hotel you are literally steps to everything! I would definitely stay here again!

The property is perfectly located for North Michigan Avenue shopping / sightseeing and delicious restaurants. The rooms are lovely (although missing coffee / tea facilities. The rooftop bar / restaurant was a trip highlight. (Make reservations!) The concierge Asya was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is responsible for the only blemishes on this report card. They missed removing and replacing dirty... More

The rooms are small, but clean and that is all I look for in a hotel, especially in a big city. And bugs free! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and very spacious. Would recommend!!

I attended a business conference held at this hotel. It's a quality property. Clean and quiet rooms with nice amenities. Well located with a wide selection of restaurants nearby. I've also stayed here for leisure travel and enjoyed the experience.

As allways the Conrad is a joh to come to in Chicago. Rooms at very good. The gym could have been a little bigger, ok. Nice outside terrasse. My onli complaint is abort the brukast restaurant, the staff is not very profesional, forget your orders and not very good under pressure.

Everything was as I expected from the name Conrad Hilton. Being a business traveler with Diamond Status with Hilton, I was very well taken care of by the staff. My room was upgraded with an amazing room with a large soaking tub as well as a walk in shower. It was close to everything we were looking for and a... More

I stayed at The Conrad for one night in December while in Chicago for business. I was expecting so much more after reading all the great reviews and was, frankly, rather disappointed. What can't be beat was the US $145 (before taxes/fees) corporate rate I paid, but considering the room normally goes for upwards of $250, certainly wouldn't be what... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
