I stay at the JW when in Chicago for business, usually a dozen times or more per year. The staff are professional and the service is impeccable. It's a large hotel, but suffers none of the usual drawbacks of a large hotel. Highly recommended.

My time in Chicago was short, but this hotel made it an excellent, well-worthwhile trip. It's in a central location, almost next to the Willis Tower and there are lots of food options around. The view from my room was awful but the room itself was excellent, very comfortable and clean. The pool was nice and the price was reasonable.... More

For a honeymoon, we were upgraded to a corner room and had a stunning view of the Sears Tower. We loved the room and the view. The bathroom was luxurious in size and amenities. The hotel was quiet, but it was in January. The staff were attentive but nothing else stood out for our stay. If we had not gotten... More

5. Thank you. Although Chicago winters can at times be arduous, our distinct four seasons each have special qualities. Best part though is we have an ideal spot to sit by the fireplace with either a hot chocolate or something a little stronger and watch the masses pass by outside. Incorporating a 21st Century hotel into a 100 year old... More

Everything about this hotel is top notch AND very reasonably priced. Stayed in the Adams suite and enjoyed great west and street views of the financial district. The lobby is first class and the staff is extremely tight! I highly recommend the JW Marriott to all visitors to Chicago.

We had a Girls Night Staycation in December 2015. Manager Gabrielle was great. She helped us with our upgrade to luxury suite which was well worth the money. Big bathtub looking over the board of trade. We felt special. Room-service was very nice. Check in and Check out was very professional. The pool area is small but clean and well... More

Paid for this hotel using Marriott reward points and stayed for 4 nights and the room was the best I have ever stayed in. Very spacious room with an amazing bathroom, complementary wifi and great breakfast selection. Location was ideal for the short trip and staff beyond helpful. Thank you, and for the record, from our side (although we might be a little biased), but we think we have the best guests visiting Chicago as well. Your loyalty to Marriott is appreciated at all levels, and we appreciate guests like yourself who choose to redeem their valuable points at our hotel. Thank you for complimenting both our product... Double bed room was a good size room and very nicely appointed. The staff was really friendly and quick. The lobby bar was hopping. Large fitness center is 24hr and has gym quality selection and variety. Pool was locked, so not 24hr. Here is the weird: Impossible to find the light switches. Bathroom has huge double doors that were always... More

What a fabulous bed and shower. I wish they'd had a waterfront room available, but our room was large. A second sitting chair would have been nice since there were two of us, but the room was generously sized. The front desk service was superlative and the concierge really knew some great places to recommend. The restaurant offered wonderful breakfasts;... More

Thank you for the kind review and positive ratings, unfortunately this may have been intended for one of our competitors. While we enjoy our unique location in the heart of Chicago’s architectural masterpieces and the prime vantage point it presents, offering views of Lake Michigan or the Chicago River would be beyond our control. We do hope this review finds... More

Thank you, and now that we’ve met your expectations our resolve is to continually surpass your expectations on future visits. We consider ourselves an urban oasis, and although we’re literally in the heart of Chicago, our rooms were soundproofed with the most modern technology available and our interior rooms, even if lacking a view, provide absolute solitude at all times....
