We are frequent travelers, including oversees, and the room we had at this hotel was the smallest we have ever stayed in. Literally had to walk sideways to walk around the bed to get to the other side. There was about a 12-inch clearance. Had to walk around the toilet to get into the postage-stamp sized bathroom. No exhaust fan... More

Loved this place. The concierge named Tim is fabulous!!! We upgraded to a bigger room with a a twin foldout as we were traveling with our daughter and Tim was waiting for us at the lobby elevator with the new key cards. then, we forgot a suit in the closet of the old room and he got it for us.... I pre-requested a very quiet room away from elevators, etc. When I checked in, I was assured that the romm I was assigned was very quiet and tucked away. I got off the elevator...and there was my room! My request for a change was met with a snotty reply that I could have a room that another guest had moved... More

We chose CQ because of the location and price. It was expensive by our standards but MUCH less so than other hotels in the vicinity. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. DeShawn at the front desk calmly sorted out a reservation hiccup and made sure my 87-year old parents got the handicapper room that they needed. Francis, one of... More

I was looking forward to staying here after looking at reviewer's pictures of the beautiful views from their windows. Unfortunately the view from my room was the side of a building viewed through a chicken wire lined window. Additionally, the room was located behind a bank of elevators. I had ear plugs, but they were not able to block out... More

Great service and very convenient. Comfy Club Quarters living room with snacks, lounge chairs, computer kiosks, including MACs, and conference rooms that are free for all guests - great for night-owls who don't want to hang out in their rooms. Rooms are small, basic, but modern and clean; guest accessories such as irons and clean blankets, etc. are in a... More

We had the hardest time finding a hotel downtown that was not super expensive and was clean and nice. We nailed it with this hotel!! The rooms are small, but how much time do you really spend in there?? The location was PERFECT. A few blocks away was all the shopping on Magnificent Mile, the river is across the street,... More

If you want an affordable hotel, be in the middle of Chicago, and close to the major tourist spots, this is the place to be. The room rates are about 50-75% of nearby hotels. The rooms are very small but if your goal is to be out and about, then that issue is irrelevant. Our room was very clean, with... More

Stayed here is May 2013 and found the Hotel great in all aspects. Nice clean well-kept rooms with free Wi-Fi that performed well. The room I stayed in was not overly large (standard room - queen bed) but not too squashy. Excellent central location overlooking the river. I would recommend to friends and stay there again without hesitation. The check... More
