Used a central point for our Baseball Road trip. Ideal for transport from the airport, via the 'El', only three stops from O'Hare. About 30-35 minutes into the loop and the centre of Chicago. Cumberland 'EL' stop only five minutes walk from hotel. Hotel ideally situated off highway, so straight off north to Milwaukee etc with ease. Hotel staff friendly... More

This location, now a Holiday Inn, has improved since its previous Clarion hotel association. One thing that has not changed is that the room windows continue to be filthy. The room windows have not been cleaned in years and years. Years of grime and dirt and bird droppings cloud the outside of the windows, and many fingerprints are obvious on... More

What does anyone want when they travel, clean Hotel, good food, and people who no matter what job that they have give you a smile while doing it. I found this Holiday Inn had it all,it may not be the biggest one around that area but I found that I felt right at home there. My friend came in for... More

Many small problems led to a less than satisfactory stay. First, we were given a smoking room after requesting non smoking. When we returned to our room later in the evening the smoke smell was overwhelming. Our room was changed, but it was inconvenient to have to pack up and move. We checked in on a Thurs. and reserved the... More

Stayed here for one night on April 22, 2010 for business trip at O'Hare. This is a solid three star property with friendly staff, comfortable, standard Holiday Inn rooms, onsite rest/lounge and 24-hour airport shuttle. The in-room wireless is complimentary but the Internet access in the business center is not. The hotel is located nearby the Cumberland L-train stop for... More

I stayed here from September 1-5. Just made a TripAdvisor account, so writing a review now. I must say, I had a wonderful stay. To check into the hotel you must be 21, but I am 19. I called the hotel prior to booking to see if it would be alright with them. They said it was fine, so I... More

A lot about the hotel, I loved. The area was great... just off 90 and also by the Cumberland Blue Line stop, so easy to get to either by highway or the CTA, and there was also free parking, which is almost impossible to find in the Chicago area. They provide a shuttle to close locations, so they were more... More

This was our second stay, using their park, sleep and fly program, and it works very well. Shuttle leaves every 1/2 hour going to O'Hara and is easy to pick up on the return. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for. We'll be using the service again next year.

United cancelled our flight, so a three hour stop over after a trans-Atlantic flight turned into 6 hours. With 4 children in tow, we desperately wanted somewhere near. Now here's somebody who's going to eat humble pie. After complaining about the shuttle, they couldn't find my booking. My fault - booked for wrong month. The staff could have told me... More
