I can't really add to the other compliments given to the Lincoln Park Guest House because I agree with all of them! The comfort and attention to detail are still very much a part of the experience - and the hosts are still friendly and helpful. I decided to focus on the location - Lincoln Park is a great area... Went to Chicago for two weeks for a course my teenage daughter was taking and wanted a central location but didn't want to live in the busy hotel strip downtown. Was hoping for close subway access ( Fullerton stn on the red line is a block away) with more of a neighborhood feel. Super comfy king bed close to Blues... More

My wife and I loved our three night stay at The Lincoln Park Guesthouse. We had never toured Chicago and were more than a little intimidated by the fast-paced urban environment. This perfectly located accommodation was ideal to allow us to park our car without concern and use public transport to explore and become accustomed to Chicago urban culture. Our... More

Perfect location to visit our son at DePaul. Street parking was never a problem. Great bed linens and towels. Coffee pot as well as fridge stocked with beverages and a few snacks. (Some chocolate would have been nice). Comfortable with a thermostat right outside the door.

We stayed on August 15/16, 2013 and were incredibly impressed!! Street noise was at a minimum, due to the thick interior walls. The furnishings were beautiful. Very clean!!! Host was incredibly welcoming and pleasant. We will definitely be staying here again!!! Thanks so much!!! Nick and Kristie Z.

My husband and I routinely stay at the Guest House-- enjoyed our third stay at this haven from frenetic city pace. Has gorgeous artistic decor, helpful staff, spotless room and is cheery / bright. We love the convenience to our son's Lincoln Park condo, and use public transportation to museums and Michigan Avenue. Favorite: all the good restaurants nearby to... More

Talk about a home away from home! This place is in a great neighborhood, right across the road from DePaul University. Great Lincoln Park vibe. The hostess is very very sweet and was very welcoming when we arrived. I expected just a typical B&B room. Was I wrong! We had an entire entry and living room to ourselves, as well... More

The reviews are pretty exceptional, so we arrived with high expectations and were not disappointed. The common living area nicely decorated and very comfortable. The lux king bed w deep-foam topped mattress was superior, as were the fine linens. No meals served on site, but all the Keurig coffee and tea options we could possibly want and a few breakfast... Owner/hostess Sharon Durling was very personable and made us feel like old friends. The atmosphere was very warm and eclectically charming. Our bed was really astonishingly comfortable. I regret not reading the mattress label and studying the assembly of bedding components in hopes of duplicating at home. Location is in a very scenic and upscale old neighborhood with lots of...
