This odd little 2 story hotel is right in downtown Chicago. It is walking distance to almost everything and free parking was included in the price. The rooms were a bit small and nothing fancy but all we did was sleep there and it was fine for that. We would not hesitate to stay here if we're in Chicago again.

Perfect hotel for the average person, nothing fancy but very nice accommodations. Perfect location to all the big attractions. An added bonus is that there is a parking lot on the premisses so you can come and go.

We spent three nights here and enjoyed every minute. The location is great, near most every place we wanted to go. Free onsite parking was a real plus, We loved the 60's vibe of the place. Our room was freshly renovated and perfectly clean. Staff were all courteous, friendly, and helpful with everything. We enjoyed the windows that opened fully... More

It's small but enough room to be very comfortable. Location was good for me, downtown is like a 10 minute walk. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful, especially since I had to deal with a cancelled flight. I booked early and got a decent price got summer time. The only problem I had was that... More

We arrived in the AM, exhausted from our ordeal at ORD and they made special effort to give us a room for early check-in. The room was spotless and included a microwave/ fridge w/ freezer and a flat screen TV with HBO. The Magnificent Mile location is perfect.

I checked in on a Tuesday with a friend. We had prebooked our room at $149 a nite x 3 nites. The motel said they needed a card on file so I gave my card. They ran my debit card at that time for $1 to make sure the card was valid. We told the hotel mgr we wanted to... More

The rooms were not huge but in my price range I felt that it was adequate. The rooms and property were clean and maintained. However, I think the bathroom ceiling in my room needed a bit attention. The location is excellent. You can be on Michigan Avenue's Magnificient Mile within a few blocks. We purchased a 48 hour ticket to... More

I was impressed by the motel's proximity to the tourist hotspots. We were able to easily walk to "The Magnificient Mile" and the Prime shopping on Oak Street. We purchased a pass for a double decker bus tour. The last stop was 1 block from the Ohio House Motel. The Motel itself is an older, clean property. However, some things,... More

My wife and I stayed here 2 nights in late April. WE booked it primarily because it seemed like great value, and it measured up way beyond our expectations. Please understand that this is a 50 year old motel, but the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom is more than adequate. WE had a front facing ground floor... More

My partner and I stayed at this location so we could be within walking distance of the Chicago Theater one night. Cons: -Room a dingy and cigarette odor. -Carpet, linens/drapes seemed a little old and dingy. -Room was extremely small and restroom even smaller. -Parking was so tough to squeeze in and out of without accident. -Front staff was so...
