Great space, nice decor, convenient location-- were all pluses. The window unit air conditioners all need work. They were very noisy, one dripped water all over the floor, but the apartment was cool enough. the laundry area was dangerous and the outside access door to the basement was not secured well.

I love the location of The Biddle House. As a Chicagoan temporarily living out of town, I appreciate the proximity to Lincoln Park (for excellent dog walking and running, zoo for the kids), to Treasure Island for groceries, and to public transportation - whether the buses in the park or the Sedgwick Brown line stop. Street parking (with apartment-supplied permits)... More

Out daughter was graduating college, we arrived from far and wide- well, California, New York and Utah. The Biddle House allowed us to comfortably live in Chicago for our celebration week. Wonderful set up with two comfortable apartments. Good bathrooms, new mattresses and lovely linens. Neighborhood was dog walking perfect and many cafés nearby. Elizabeth, the owner, responds immediately to... More

I will stay here every time I come to Chicago. Matt from At-Home-Inn was excellent to work with, the apartment is clean and well-furnished, the location very convenient to the train and very walker friendly to restaurants, shops, and the park. I recommend it highly.

My sister and our two friends do a ladies' weekend away each year, and this year we chose Chicago. We enjoy staying in apartments rather than hotels as there is more room and the locations are usually more authentic than hotels. The Biddle House did not disappoint in either area. The location was ideal as it was in Old City... More

I took a chance with The Biddle House as it received a rather negative review awhile back. I called and talked with the service, AtHomeInnChicago, and was assured all was well. (I liked the location and price...it had received a couple good reviews too...). I loved it. Cozy, great visuals from the living room, organic breakfast foods including good coffee.... More

Lincoln Park boasts over 1200 acres of green space complete with a free zoo open to visitors year-round. This pedestrian-friendly neighborhood is lined with parks, row homes, boutiques, taverns, and nature. Lincoln Park itself borders the lakefront area offering peaceful views of the water and the Chicago skyline. The Lincoln Park Conservatory is one of the most popular attractions in the area, with the Chicago History Museum a close second. Armitage Avenue is where you’ll find great shopping from high-end retailers and small boutiques, whereas Clark Street houses cafes and restaurants. For more highbrow entertainment, walk along Lincoln Avenue to find some of Chicago’s finer museums and theaters.
