We picked up a deal on Price-line and stayed over the weekend. The rooms were clean and the staff were nice even though we did not smell of money. The room were pretty small for the price. The internet was good, which is unusual in many hotels.

This is a great hotel for business travelers! The members-only lounge offers free refreshments, conference room meeting space, computers in quiet work spaces, and a place to relax. The Elephant Pub Restaurant is conveniently located on the main level of the hotel. It is also located within a few short blocks of public transportation (CTA) and a host of restaurants,... More

After many stays in this hotel, I still consider it my preferred home away from home, in part because of the location and amenities, and in large part because of the friendly staff, including the incomparable Amy. The hotel's location, the free filtered water, the free internet, the restaurant next door, the ease of getting to public transportation--- all factors... More

Stayed 5 days on a business trip/ conference in town. Flew in to O'Hare, caught blue line train, walked to hotel, perfect. Arrived early, room was ready, staff friendly. Walked into downtown, easy reach of theatres, shows, shops and Magnificent Mile. Super central location, you do have to walk a bit, but not far. 10 minutes from Shoreline Drive (walking),... More

I visited Chicago for a business internship in March 2015. As a woman traveling alone, I was picky and looked at many hotels before choosing this one. I definitely made the right choice! I took a cab from the airport and it pulled right up to the well-lit front entrance. (Note: Make sure you wait in the cab line at... More

Staff were all great and very friendly. However this is a business hotel and policies differ from other hotels. I think it's assumed most guests are going to business meetings with food served. At any rate there's no morning food served of any kind. It would have been nice to pick up a roll, a bowl of breakfast cereal or... More

The best location, all attractions in a walking distance, plenty places to have breakfast and lunch. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Reception staff are helpful with all city info. Union bus stop is in 20 min walking distance. The nearest metro is in 5 min walk.

I booked 2 rooms through hotwire but they messed up my name. It added "one" to the end of my name. Calling hotwire wouldn't get resolved. Finally, Karina of the front office did some digging and found the booking. It was a fully-booked night. Thanks. Also, the big guy (forgot his name) at the front desk was very friendly and... More

Nice hotel, central located, clean, very kind employers. good food in the restaurant/cafe. just below the lobby there are public computers and conference rooms free to use. easy to go around with the cheap taxi's, or with other public transportation. Just around the block is a cycle rental place, but know what your doing, the traffic is crazy there :)

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. This central business district boasts Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. A stunning skyline coupled with cultural attractions like the Art Institute of Chicago present a Downtown where work and play peacefully coexist.
