PROS: The hotel was in a fantastic location within walking distance of shopping, live music and restaurants! The property was beautiful. The restaurants and bars in the hotel were great. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. CONS: The room was dirty (stained carpeting and dusty). We were in a room with the an... More

Stayed here for 1 night and it wasn't long enough! Nice big rooms with comfortable beds and a Starbucks in reception. Ideally located just off the Magnificent Mile with a vast array of bars, restaurants and shops on your doorstep. Couldn't ask for more.

wasn't sure what to think but I'm glad I decided to pick it for our stay. it's a great location off of michigan avenue not too far north or too far south. If the valet rate was less I would definitely stay here again. here's my pros and cons below: Pros: 1. Room size ok. don't feel cramped at all... More

MileNorth is very very convenient to the Magnificent Mile in Chicago. There are lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel staff was super helpful, friendly, and professional. Our room was very nice and housekeeping was very effecient. The lobby is very pleasant and modern, with a coffee shop and bar. The bar at the top of the hotel is fantastic... More

If you're looking for a really nice hotel with a cute and unique lobby and rooms in the heart of the shopping center of Chicago, then this is it. It's right off Michigan Ave and a block away from Water Tower. You can catch all the buses going up and down the Mile right there. This place is also cheaper... More

Firstly the rooms are amazing and large, nice working desk, lounge area and huge empress beds, good air con throughout room. Bathrooms are little small and baths even smaller not the type of soak in and relax Lifts can be a nightmare at times as only 2 to service all upper floors and this only gets worse when one is... The location of the hotel couldn't be better. It's near the corner of Superior and Michigan Avenue and a great starting point for a walk along the Magnificent Mile. Right downstairs is the famous Gino's East pizzeria (the original location), so that's convenient and further down Superior across Michigan is a Giordano's pizzeria so you can comparison test. There are... More

Friendly staff, polite and attentive. Excellent location in E Superior Street almost corner with Michigan Ave. Right besides Gino's East if you want to try the famous Chicago deep dish pizza. Nice hotel with a modern twist. Has a rooftop lounge in the upper floor. Spacious and clean rooms, fully equipped.

I stayed at the hotel on mother's day in rm. 406. Room was very clean, but from time to time would hear loud music coming from someone's sub-woofer speakers in the alley of the hotel, which is where window was facing. Very loud and distracting. Made visit very unpleasant. To add, no room service, which was a bummer.

This is a boutique style hotel on a quiet street close to all the amenities of the Miracle Mile. There are scores of great restaurants close by, a Whole Foods a few blocks away and a Walgreens every few blocks it seems. Shopping on Michigan Ave is a few blocks away (State & Chicago Red Line station) as is the... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
