Stayed here for 2 nights for a business trips. We used the hotels facilities for the conference. Overall, I thought the hotel was nice and in a good location. I was fortunate to have a room on the 36th floor and had a great view of the Pier, Marina and water. The room itself was roomy with a large bed,... More

Staff entered my room on three different occasion unexpectedly. I was startled and awoke to the staff in my room. the person who entered my room on the first day said they were housekeeping at 8AM. The next person came on the next day around 1pm and said they were there to pick up the food tray. Neither person knocked!

We were very appreciative that we were able to check in early (by 1 pm) for 3 rooms. We found the hotel clean and close to attractions in the Loop. Our only complaint was the lack of toiletries in one room and the fact that even when we called the front desk, we still did not receive any. It was... More

We stay at this hotel every year for a meeting my husband organizes. The rooms we've had have been large and clean and I have absolutely no problem with anything room related. My issue is with the incredibly slow and overwhelmed lobby staff. It always seems to be understaffed and the lines to check in, check out or ask a... More

This past weekend I stayed at the Swissotel for the second time this month. The staff was courteous, our room was clean and had an amazing water view. Prices are competitive for the area and star rating. The parking is a little pricey, but that is to be expected in Chicago. The gym, pool, and hot tub are incredible and... More

Amtrak was 6 hours late coming into Chicago. They put us up in the Swissotel. We were very impressed with the speed of check in and the room. They had all the amenities you could ask for in a hotel and were accommodating to distressed travelers

One would think that one of the best hotels in Chicago - a self-proclaimed evaluation - would be able to step up to the role and provide better services than a motel. We arrived at 2 pm to check in, as part of a national student conference, and were told we would be in rooms by no later than 5... More

This was honestly my worst hotel experience ever. When you look up the hotel on the Internet, everything seems fancy and full of class, but the interior (especially the rooms) are anything but that. We booked the rooms 3 months in advanced and had to wait 7 hours at the hotel for the rooms to be ready. We complained and... More

Stayed for a conference and thought it was okay. The room smelled old. I did not get regular coffee upon arrival but they quickly remedied that for me as well as promptly fixed my refrigerator. I was charged to order giardannos pizza and then had to go down stairs and outside to retrieve it....which meant I had to put decent... More

My husband and I came to Chicago for a wedding - the venue was at the Swissotel. What a beautiful setting. The rooms were very nice - awesome views and wonderful staff. Will definitely go back! Perfect
