Service was spotty and inconsistent with Fairmont as a brand. Concierge level was nice and people were friendly. Business center and shipping/receiving was a disaster for myself and travel colleague. We were happy to check out. Overall the stay was fine but won't stay there again. Upon check in I found trash in my trash can and opened ear q-tips... More

My wife and I paid for 5 rooms for a total of 19 nights at this hotel in late-June 2013 for our son's wedding. Other than a hassle at check-in, our experience was first class. As an example of the detailed perfection, after one visit to the front desk to ask a routine question, the clerk knew my name for... More

Even though it has been two years, I could not forget the taste of the room I enjoyed. Great view, great rooms, everything is clean and room size is very large. Hotel location is at the city center. I stayed at winter so the prices were proper, but at summer it is pricey. Definitely worths..

My husband and I stayed here on the Saturday after the 4th of July. Although we had a late check-in, we were still able to get a room on the 23rd floor with a nice view! The staff were very pleasant! We didn't choose to park our car overnight at the Fairmont because the $62/night was a bit pricey, but... More

Fairmonts have rightly earned a good reputation. This one could use some help. The layout of the room was very inconvenient, with the closet and bathroom being down the hall and around the corner from the sleeping area. There was no dresser for clothing although there was what looked to be a small sofa with a cushioned top and two... More

Not what I was expecting for a 4 star hotel. I would not want to stay at this Fairmont again. The furniture in the room was outdated and scrapped up. The tv was nice and newer but kind of out of place because it was so big. We had double beds but they had to be full size because they... More

Very disorganized staff at the front desk check in/out. House keeping didn't even come to clean my room until I complained about it. The hotel is old and worn out, needs an upgrade. Carpet is dirty and walls in the hallway are all banged up, not what I expected for a Fairmont. I would recommend staying elsewhere for the price.... More

I'm giving it a 3 because it was well appointed, clean and the service was excellent (plus it's in a GREAT location). But it's a Fairmont, so I would expect that and more. The low 3 is due to NOISE! As mentioned, the room was well appointed and clean, but the furniture (wood) had been dinged many times over. I... More

Luckily I went to the Fairmont with a conference so therefore at a pretty affordable rate, however if I had paid full rate I would be very upset. The hotel has no pool. You look out your window at all the other hotels and see pools. The rooms were very comfortable. The check in we had was horrible. We had... More

Beautiful room. Views were outstanding!Very nice banquet facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is not the best for downtown Chicago. It was not really close to a lot of attractions. However, it is attached to the pedaway, which is SO nice during the chilly winter months in Chicago.
