Each staff member I encountered at the Fairmont, from the concierge on the phone, to the valet and possible managers at the front door, to the front desk staff and bartender, were extremely helpful, positive, genuine concern making sure my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I appreciated the time they took, without rushing when the hotel can be busy,... More

I enjoyed my stay very much thanks in great part to the fabulous staff. They were unfailingly friendly and very helpful. My room was very nice as well and the WiFi was very strong. I will not hesitate to return and recommend.

I went to Chicago for business and was so happy that I booked this hotel. It's beautiful and really well located close to the action but not in the middle of it. The rooms were large, the bathroom was spacious and had a separate shower which I really like. There was a tub - I never used it. The safe... More

Outstanding hotel. Beautiful room! My room was so comfortable, super clean and well appointed. The Gold lounge was a delightful, private lounge on the 15th floor with a great view. The service from the front desk, to the lounge, to the bell hop, to the maid service was just outstanding. Thumbs up!

We use hotel.com late in the week to find hotels in Chicago on weekends. The Fairmont has been reasonably priced several of the times we looked in the last year and we have stayed there 3 times. It is a great location, just a block north of Millenium Park (which is just north of the Art Institute) and we leave... More

Overall, a lovely and comfortable hotel. Our closet/dressing area/bathroom configuration was a bit awkward. The closet rather small and cramped. The dressing area was crowded with the coffee maker, glasses, etc and there was no seat so you had to pull in the desk chair, which made the area more crowded. Charged $$$$ for everything.

The Fairmont Chicago has been our "go-to" hotel in the Windy City for about 20 years. It is much more popular now since Millenium Park was established, but we love the location. Notable was Gail, the concierge, who was extremely helpful during our three night stay, and love the free wifi as a President's Club member. Disappointed to have a... More

The Fairmont in Chicago was very clean and nice for its purpose. Nothing too fancy. My family and I stayed there for 3 days and felt very comfortable although we spent little actual time in the room except for sleeping. The beds were soft and the linens were very clean, no stains or weird smells. A very average stay, at... More

Lovely room, comfy beds, large, well equipped bathroom. Great View of Lake Michigan from corner room. Nice gym with fresh fruit always available. Management said there was a plumbing problem with all the corner rooms on our side of bldg after 1st 2 nights (although we had NO problems). They moved us to a different room (on other side) &... Beautiful rooms great all a round service..vallet Eddie and all staff were great. If you are sending a package to this hotel just know there are extra charges at FedEx and you have to get it yourself not delivered to our room direct. But everyone couldn't have been more helpful.
