Stayed 3 nights in early November for a girlfriend trip! Booked a suite and had incredible views. I don't think the beds are as comfortable as Westins..etc. Check in was fast and easy. I found ALL the staff to be super friendly! We were on the 21st floor...two bedded suite with a nice bathroom. Our room was quiet. I used... more

Unrealistic that in this day and age you have to pay $14.95 a day for internet service in your room. (Also have to pay $10 a day to use the gym.) Restaurants in the hotel are really overpriced. Room was nice and the location is convenient, but for the price, they don't have to be so stingy! more

I recently stayed at the Fairmont in Chicago. I got a great deal on Priceline so I was a little worried what the room would be like. It was beautiful and big. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated. I loved the shower which had one of those big rainfall shower heads. The neighborhood was also nice because it... more

Finished a 3-nighter at the Chicago Fairmont about a week ago. Overall, the experience was okay. Unless I need the stay credit, I don't think I'll stay at this hotel next time I go to Chicago. Drive-up: Taxi pulled up to the hotel. No doorman in sight. It was 3 pm. Perhaps all occupied with other guests. Don't know. Good... more

We have a tradition of visiting an American city every year that we haven't been to before. Last year, it was Washington D.C., which was AMAZING. This year, we picked Chicago, and it was a bit of a letdown. It did have a little to do with staying at the Fairmont. My inner voice said Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton,... more

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are just beautiful - large & modern with a fabulous bathroom. However, a few nights I got woken up by some early risers in the hallway. Also, I expected a little more friendliness from the staff - check-in seemed terse. Otherwise, the location was great; although I wish we were closer to the... more

We were disappointed with this hotel. The staff seems hurried and unhelpful. Our room was not made up until after 5 PM despite several requests. The blower in the hallway blew freezing air, but the staff told us that there was nothing that could be done about it. The lobby is not inviting and there is no where comfortable to... more
