We stayed at the Ritz for three nights and experienced the Spa two days. It was also gracious that upon check in, the manager sent cake and champagne to our room. When there was a glitch in the movie, they refunded the services (unnecessary). The services were incredible (My husband never seems happy with his massages and walked out with... More

I had such a memorable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago (a Four Seasobs Hotel) for business, I am coming back with family for pleasure! Service is amazing, from curbside all the way to housekeeping. I was greeted with my name and a smile everywhere I went. My check in was smooth, my room was beyond comfortable, and the restaurant (Decca)... More

This was my first time staying at this property and will be back. Service is top notch. Rooms are spacious, clean and well taken care of. Location is very convenient if you want to shop in the north loop. Close to many of the downtown attractions.

The service was warm, the views are amazing and the location is perfect! Even though they were more or less full we felt as if it was our Hotel for the weekend. We stayed during the easter weekend. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The beds are extremely comfortable as well

I had the hardest time with the fact that the room was supposed to be paid for on the corporate credit card that was used to reserve the room. When they know it is for business they should ask in advance about incidentals.

Whenever my travels take me to Chi-town, I insist upon staying at the Ritz. The location is picture perfect. Let me see this again: the location is picture perfect. For starters, the hotel is connected to Water Tower Place. Second, it is in the thick of the best portion of Mag Mile. Third, is it lake you want? Then, you... More

The staff, atmosphere, and attention to detail were incredible. Great location in downtown Chicago as well. The views of the lake were beautiful, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

I have stayed at the Ritz in Chicago before with great experiences in the past. This stay topped them all. My 4 year old daughter and I live in Chicago and stayed for 3 nights to relax and enjoy Chicago. We checked in with Rosa who was very professional and kind. My daughter got to pick a toy from the... There might be some newer hotels with more contemporary amenities but you can't beat the Ritz for customer service. The Ritz Chicago never fails in consistency and the highest standards of personal service.

Arrived Chicago after a long flight from Australia, beautiful hotel, fabulous room & great staff, could not have been better. We were joining a group to go touring through the US, we had a private dinner on our arrival. We were soooo well looked after.

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
