The Monaco is a wonderfully located hotel. Really close to the theater district and train station. Our room was on the corner and it was huge! Two big window seats to relax in. Very nice staff. Close to both Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks. A nice walkable distance to Michigan Ave at a very reasonable price. The decor is very nice... More

All I can say is that I LOVE this hotel!!! They found out that I was celebrating my birthday and that this was my first time visiting Chicago and the staff made me feel like royalty. They sent up a chilled bottle of wine with a personal note wishing me a Happy Birthday. I got a goldfish to keep my... More

This hotel was very nice. It was clean and the staff was super friendly. The front desk staff, especially Emerson, were friendly and helpful. They truly made me feel like they were happy we were there. The coffee in the morning was a lovely bonus and the wine tasting hour was also fun. We struck up a conversation with another... More

This is a little boutique hotel right downtown. Our room had a beautiful view of the river. Our room had a cute little window seat that any little one would love to sleep in! The staff was super nice, from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping. When you check in they give you a personal tour of your... More

I love this hotel! Great location, not far from Union Station. Beautiful rooms, helpful staff and an excellent on site restaurant. They even had an evening wine reception with good wines. I will definitely return on my next Chicago trip.

I stayed with my boyfriend January 29th, 30th, and 31st. It is in a great location right downtown, in easy walking distance to millennium park, the bean(of course) ,and some really great restaurants. The king bed was quite comfortable, they didnt have a coffee maker in the room or a free morning breakfast, though they had free coffee , and... More

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at Hotel Monaco. The staff were all very pleasant- especially the doormen- all super helpful and just really nice to talk to! The bed was very comfortable and we were able to get a good nights sleep all three nights. The hotel also provided beverages throughout the day, which was nice... More

Our room was large and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet for sleeping. Close to Chicago River and very scenic at night. Staff was cordial and helpful when asked for advice

Stayed at the Monaco for an Anniversary weekend. Enjoyed every minute of our stay! Very clean hotel, friendly staff, decent sized rooms for downtown Chicago. Had a River View room and the views of the river and surrounding buildings were awesome, especially at night. Enjoyed the window seat as well! Also the wine reception was nice although it was very... The Hotel Monaco was the perfect location for our overnight birthday celebration. It put us within walking distance of everything we had planned. Great eclectic design throughout the lobby and rooms. We had a fifth floor room with a north view and it was amazing to sit on the window bench and just watch the city go by. The room... More
