5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed at the hotel for a week and had a great time. The staff was great, and the room was spotless and spacious. Our room didn't have a river view, but I think it might have been worth it to upgrade. Maybe next time! The hotel could not be in a better location. It was a quick walk to... More

Rough first night. Too close to alley and trash cans banging. The desk staff moved me the next day. COMPLETELY new experience. This is a great hotel. WAY better than the big chains where my colleagues stayed. If you want boutique and super cool stay here.

This hotel was an absolute dream! We were there for a weekend girls' getaway, and we were able to cut loose and have fun here. The staff does not take themselves too seriously and enjoy what they do. The location is perfect, and we were able to walk or catch a quick train everywhere we wanted to go. The room... More

I feel like all of my glowing reviews of the Kimpton properties are driving up prices, but I still have to do my part. In a nutshell, we were going to Chicago. I looked at the Kimpton properties and chose this one. (The Monacos' interiors are all similar and I love them). This one, had an added surprise I didn't... More

Love the boutique feel to the hotel! Clean rooms, nicely decorated in Art Deco fashion with a great lounge/window seat in the room. Hotel restaurant for breakfast had very fresh ingredients, well prepared and insanely fast service. Felt like there were so many places within walking distance of the property, but plenty of cabs available too. Would absolutely come back!

The first time i stayed here it was in the rock and roll suite. fun and kitschy with a juke box and a tv being thrown out the window. . On my subsequent visits I stayed in there regular suites and have never been disappointed. rooms are well appointed spacious and clean. large windows and banquette seating offering decent views.... Perfect location for a girls weekend get away! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (when leaving Sunday am, the doorman asked us if we grabbed everything, including our chargers, gadgets, curling iron, etc.). For someone who generally leaves something behind, this reminder was very thoughtful!! We also missed the free wine social by an hour...so the front desk gave... More

When I booked this hotel I did so based on the decor I saw in their pictures online and it's location in the heart of down town. What we got was much more than looks. From the moment we arrived to the hotel we were treated kindly and with utmost courtesy. Everyone from the gentleman who greeted us at the... More

Our stay at the Hotel Monaco was absolutely wonderful. The facility was beautiful, and everything was very clean. I love the window seats! And hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs and make sure we felt not just moderately comfortable but also truly welcome and happy with our stay. It's not often that you...
