We have been loyal to the Kimpton brand since our first stay in 2012, and all our stays have been a notch above other hotels, but in terms of customer service, this recent stay at the Burnham was one of the best. Roxanna started the stay off in exemplary fashion. She is without a doubt, the best Kimpton front desk... More

After a long day of work, I checked into the Burnham around 8pm. Shortly after entering my hotel room, room service arrived. Confused, as I hadn't ordered anything, I opened the door to an attendant holding a small bottle of wine and a card: "You seemed pretty wiped out when you checked in. Hopefully a little wine can help you... More

In Chicago for business again and stayed at the Hotel Burnham, again! Perfect location in the loop and close to the CTA Blue Line from O'Hare as well as the Red Line if you want to go uptown. Lots of places to eat around the hotel as well as the Atwood Café in the hotel. Erin, the hostess, is amazing;... More

This hotel as a block of rooms for a wedding. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff is outstanding- friendly and caring, funny and knowledgable! The on site restaurant was wonderful and the fruit infused water in the lobby was a welcome addition on hot days. The attention to guests wAs impressive- our TV was broken the night of the presidential... More

The Hotel is a historic conversion from a classic Chicago office building. The renovation is very well done and somewhat unique. There is a nice lobby on the first floor and the check-in was easy. they an early check-in but we got a less desirable room. The room was very nicely appointed but very small. It was the least expensive... More

I'm back and the Hotel Burnham and happy that we decided to stay here this time. Two Kimpton hotels vie for my top spot in the city (Burnham and Palomar), and both are great. But if you're looking for a touch of history, lots of class, and swanky decor that still manages to match the historical vibe, look no further.... More

This is a great hotel in a perfect location in Downtown Chicago. Klimpton takes old buildings in the downtown area of cities across the country and refurbishes them to make a beautiful and unique hotel experience. In this case, the Burnham is a refurbished office building that is just a <10 minute walk from the Cloudgate on the north end... More

The rooms is small, which is what was expected for the location. Despite the size, the room is well appointed and stylish. The staff was a mixed bag, the morning staff was very very friendly and helpful, but the evening staff seemed put off by having to deal with us. The location is awesome, a short walk from everything and... More

This was a very nice hotel in downtown Chicago - and it was in a perfect location if you want to walk everywhere. 2 blocks from Millennium Park, right on the Hop On/Hop Off Bus line, right on the Red Line to get to Wrigley Field. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Great stay with my husband on our anniversary. It was near millennium park which was what we wanted as we were going to a concert there that night. We were offered a free glass of sangria and wine at check in which was really nice. Very friendly front desk staff. Our room was a bit small but typical for a... More
