The great thing about this hotel is that unlike many others in Chicago, the rooms are large and have two queen (not double) beds. Also having the Weber Grill restaurant on property is convenient, if for no other reason than its bar. Be aware, however -- no complimentary continental breakfast! More

Reserve and pay for a non-smoking room in advance? Too bad. These folks will give you a smoking room on a smoking floor and there's nothing you can do except apply eye drops and take aspirin and never stay at Hilton Gardens again. More
