Stayed at the Dana Hotel during a 3 day stay in Chicago, room rates were reasonable, and almost everything about the hotel was great. I would have to say the Pro's are the hotel's location, the quality of the service at the hotel and the rooms. Although on the small side, the rooms were of great quality and the bed... More

I live in the Chicago area and purchased a coupon through We Give to Get to use at the Dana's spa. My husband I excitedly booked two appointments for Saturday and noted the four-hour cancellation policy when we did. Unfortunately, I did not notice that the coupon could not be used on the weekend until I printed it out two... More

We have stay mainly at the Westin on Michigan Ave in Chicago, but this time we decided to give Dana Hotel a try. Great location, rooms are very nice, clean and modern. On the down side: the lounge on the top floor was just that, a lounge. No bar you could sit at, only couches, and most of them had... More

I am a member of Tablet Hotels' Plus program, and am always looking for cool independent boutique hotels that are more modern. I happened to be riding past the Dana one night in Chicago and saw what looked like a very spot, so I took note and was delighted to find it listed as a Tablet Plus hotel. (For those... More

Charming rooms, bath, robes, fitness room, good valet service. We like to use the stairs. The stairsteps from the first floor to the second floor lobby have poor lighting at night. It would be very easy to trip and fall, so just a safety tip. The breakfast menu seemed pretty limited. It was good food, but not many choices. We... More

Stayed at the Dana for my wifes 50th B-day celebration. Booked the Traquil Suite. We arrived and the room was ready and proceeded upstairs. The check in was smooth and we recieved 2 coupons for breakfest. They wished my wife happy b-day at check-in but THAT was all. No free drink coupons up top in the very expensive bar, no... More

Traveled around the world twice! Location amazing, noise level at night "way to loud to sleep" Heater and Air conditioner way to loud to sleep" I asked four other guests who agreed! Front desk Kennady was the best, the rest were mediocre at best. The concierge was very nice but lets face it we had a reservation at three places... More

absolutely loved staying at Dana Hotel & Spa, it is a rather small boutique hotel in great location within walking distance of all downtown attractions. Also good access to major roads. Restaurant is cool and good quality food, great breakfast too. Rooms are spacious with a large rain-shower and stunning downtown city view. Great place!

When I mean bang, I do not mean a good thing. It was about 5 to 8 degrees that weekend, so heat in the room was essential. The problem was when we turned it on, it began making a loud banging noise. It started around 12:30 am. When I called down to the desk to ask someone to fix it,... More

I travel to Chicago 3-5 times a year for business and have staed at the Dana the last three times. I really like it. The location is fantastic, particularly for the price. I've stayed at the Westin, the Sofitel, Double Tree, Monaco, Amalfi, Affinia, etc. and think the Dana is the best buy. No tubs in the rooms and two... More
