We traveled all over Dominica, we started at this resort. This island is a nature lovers island and it is remote. Considering that, this resort is not only beautiful and very nice, it is absolutely the nicest Dominica has to offer when you take into account the amenities, the beauty, area attractions and the hospitality of the staff and the... I don't know if words can encapsulate the memories I have. For one, where else can you witness endangered species at night, come up to shore with their natural instincts guiding them onto a beach that has this amazing silky, ash-like black sand. I can almost be certain that is why they come to Rosalie Bay. If watching the Green... More

This resort lives up to all expectations! The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are just amazing. I shared a junior suite with my mom, and those suites are HUGE. The garden view rooms are much smaller, but just as beautiful, as the owner has gone to great lengths to make it beautiful and comfortable. Our "chauffeur" was also amazing,... More

Rosalie Bay resort was an amazing experience. We went there so our 4 year old daughter could see the leather back turtle lay eggs. When that happened I felt I got monies worth. Service was good not great, food was excellent. If you are looking for a sunny beach vacation this is not it. It is in the middle of... More

The Location is great and the Ecology is fantastic - they work hard to protect giant tortoises which is fantastic. It is lovely and quiet and the pool is the best pool I have ever been in because it maintains heat so was always warm. The gym was small but well equipped. Some aspects are not as good. My boyfriend... More

My son and I spent about 6 days at the Rosalie Bay Resort and it proved to be a great experience. Large room, pool, nice restaurant, small gym and very important - it's quiet. If you are looking for solitude this the place on the island to be. We were fortunate enough to see a leatherback turtle trying to lay... More

We stayed at Rosalie Bay for eight nights and it was extremely nice. It's absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the beds are comfy and the linens are soft. We had no bug problems. The grounds are well maintained. You can sign up to have them notify you if any turtles appear on the beach- we saw a... More

We spent a week here March 2014 and found the experience even better than we expected. The resort-serene, beautiful, tranquil, and lush - is on the underdeveloped side of the island. This is a place to either unplug and unwind at the beach side hotel or get out and explore the multiple natural waterfalls, gorges, and volcanic odysseys of the island.... More

My husband I and spent a week at Rosalie Bay Resort at the end of February, 2014. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent, and the Junior Suite was comfortable and roomy. This is a peaceful and quiet resort, but daily excursions are offered to various scenic locations on the island. We came with trekking poles and found them... More

My husband and I spent at week at Rosalie Bay Resort in February, 2014. We would definitely recommend it to others, along with the suggestion of selecting an ocean front room as the sound of the waves and the view are absolutely incredible. Everyone we met was friendly and the staff enjoyed hearing about other parts of the world. Also,... More
