This was our second time staying at this Red Roof. We thought perhaps our first time in 2008 we just got a bad room. Wrong. This room was worse than the last. The carpeting was filthy. The bathroom door was literally held together with packing tape. I should have taken a picture. The furniture should have been retired years ago.... more

The room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed since the hotel opened...nothing within a foot of the walls or any piece of furniture has ever seen a vacuum. Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke. The telephone, alarm clock and even front door (on the inside of the room) were filthy and sticky. The air conditioner fan vents had a finish... more

Not close to anything. Walls are super thin. Renovation needed. There are plenty of better hotels in Champaign/Urbana area than this one. This happened to be the only one with rooms available during one night home football game. Will not stay here again. more

The room was great for the price we paid. Not everyone likes rooms where the door opens to the parking lot as opposed to a hallway, but the area felt safe. The room was clean and the beds were satisfactory. No Wi-Fi. more

I had not stayed in a Red Roof Inn before, and I'm not sure I will again. On the Internet listing it looked as if this place had high-speed Internet, a microwave, and an in-room refrigerator among the room amenities. I've stayed at other places where these were included when they were in the listing, so I did not expect... more

I'd read other reviews on Trip Advisor and decided this hotel would suit our needs for just one night at the end of a full day of driving. It did just that. The room was clean, the location was just off the interstate, and the internet was free (with a king room). A card in the room talked about the... more

I book this property via AA.com (which using expedia). I just need a bed and cable TV. I was booked a handicap room so the shower was different and, when taking a shower, it basically flooded the bathroom. Bed was comfy and got a decent number of cable stations. Located near the local mall and Wal-Mart ain't far. There is... more

When we checked in the clerk said the upstairs rooms were nicer because they are not used as often. After seeing our room I hate to think what the downstairs rooms are like! Maybe the stairs explain why the room looked like it had not been vacuumed in several years. There was a band of grey around the entire room,a... more

Basic and simple, but clean. The hotel is located near the mall. Surrounded by a group of other hotel-motel chains. Baymont, La Quinta, etc. can all be found in the same general area. This was the best priced motel in that location. The night we arrived there was a drunk man (wino) wandering the parking lot. This concerned us at... more
