I received a scooter trip as a gift. Two scooters for the whole day. After a couple of hours of driving around one of the scooters had a flat tire. We called the hotel lobby to ask for help. They told us they would send assistance but at a fee. We also had to pay for the tire, "you left... More

We spent a wonderful romantic weekend in Le Ry D Ave. In the very begin - warm welcome with house aperitif on the terrace, following with interesting information about surroundings and really good dinner in the garden. The chef definitely knows how to cook. It’s an old respected French kitchen with the local products and excellent choice of wines. The... More

This is the place to be when you want to find the things from before the WO II. Here I see my father standing in the real kitchen, and I haven only the good memory's on him. the people are very nice, and the environment is beautiful. The little villages, the castles, when you tried to find, you find it.... More

My wife, kid and I got a giftbox where one of the activities was a scootertrip through the Ardennes. Hostellerie Le Ry d'Ave was the hotel where you could rent the scooters and we decided to stay a night at the hotel after our motorbikeride. When we pulled up at the hotel, at a busy crossroads, the first impressions weren't... More

We have just spent the weekend at this hotel near Rochefort and were impressed with the warm welcome, the good food . In the evening, we had so much fun with the karaoke ; the owners have really done their utmost best to please us.The rooms may need to be updated, but the warm welcome, great food, make up for... We came to this place with a group of 11 friends and stayed one night. The reception was absolutely stylish and spotless. On our arrival a waiter in full dress served us a welcome drink and the manager came to us to explain us which walk we could do - because that's what why we came here for- and gave... More

We booked this having received a ´bongo box´ (my husband is Belgian) as a gift from his brother. Here are some bullet points as to why you would not want to stay here (unless you like the following) - - Hotel is a junk shop (owner apparently likes to collect antiques - couldn´t actually see any antiques, just crap everywhere).... Good hotel to stay and to be used for excursions in this area. Rooms are simple, but have all you need. People are very friendly. Dinner was excellent.

My girlfriend, our dog and I stayed in the hotel for a long weekend. It was great, the Staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was good, bathroom even had a double sink. The food in the hotel is the best, from a simple cheese croquette to a very luxery dinner. Situated in a part of the ardenne where... More
