Innkeeper Karol admits to being a perfectionist. She is correct. Fitz Randolph House is absolutely beautiful both on the outside and inside. The old 1870s mansion is meticulously restored and exceedingly clean. Wonderful bed with comfortable (expensive) bedding. The breakfast was wonderful; the host attentive. This inn is located just one block away from the historic Carthage jail where Mormon... More

You never know what you are going to get, until you actually see something with your own eyes. This Inn was beyond anything we could have expected. The breakfast was so good, that I don't think I'll ever think of breakfast the same way again. Steve did an amazing job making sure we did not "want" for anything while we... More

This beautiful Victorian Home has been recently restored to its original style with modern amenities. The owner's, Steve and Karol, are the nicest most hospitable people you will ever meet. The breakfast was delicious and homemade. Our room was spacious, clean and relaxing. I slept wonderfully. The beds are comfortable with fully pillows. I will always stay at The "Fitz"... More

We've stayed with Karol and Steve twice and it is just a joy to stay in such a wonderful, lovingly restored home with people who become your friends immediately. If you're traveling through the area, a stop at this wonderfully restored home is advised! The food is wonderful, hospitality cannot be beat and you will sleep beautifully on their wonderfully... Beautiful home lovingly restored. Karol and Steve could not have been nicer. Why stay in a chain hotel when so much charm and comfort is available for a similar price? And breakfast is light years better than you'd find anywhere else. Ask Karol to make her new receipe - Maple Cream Drops. We've stayed twice, the second time for two... More

Beautiful restoration of gracious, historic home. We found the Inn by chance when visiting Carthage. We had planned on staying one night, but stayed for two and enjoyed other sites within driving distance. We became acquainted with Carol ad Steve Carr and shared our desire to some day open a place of our own. This visit was over two years... More

Beautiful, beautiful home! Stayed for one night (wish it could have been more)and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good, beds very great, very clean and wonderful host/owner. We would plan a trip to the area just so we could stay again.

I've walked by this beautiful 1873 Italianate town home for over thirty years. A wonderful couple purchased the property in 2007 and gave it the restoration it deserved. Four lovely rooms each with bath. Excellent breakfast. If you truly enjoy the B & B experience, you should enjoy this location.
