So the good folks of Carlye got me a room at Mariner's Village. As a displaced mid westerner living on the east coast, I felt at home. Great hotel with a family atmosphere. The staff was spot on with my needs and just good ole fashion being kind. Too bad it's a bit off the interstate but if you are... More

This hotel is based on an older Microtel hotel design and reminiscent of old roadside Best Western hotels from the 80's. The staff was friendly and pleasant, but a sunny demeanor did not make this a good stay. First, let's lay some ground rules to establish what to expect. This hotel was never designed to host luxury travelers, so prepare... More

After looking at all the reviews it scared me buy I took my chance. Front desk super friendly and my room was clean. Would recommend that don't go by the other reviews because my stay was 100% great. The young women at the front desk let us check in early since we could not play golf in the rain. And... More

I have stayed here many times over the last 10 years with a group. New owners now and it's awful. No one cleaned our room, no clean towels, no coffee. The banquet room was not cleaned prior to our arrival, no table clothes for the tables; we always had access to the bar area to use the fridge, microwave, ice... More

Stayed the night for valentines day. Room was not clean. Stain on the sheets. Beds were so uncomfortable. Didn't get a lick of sleep. Would not recommend this hotel. Food selection was minimal. Guy at the front desk was friendly.

Very clean hotel room! (My number 1 priority.) Nicely (Christmas) decorated lobby w/comfortable seating for viewing their lobby's TV or reading; pleasant & accommodating staff; room was comfortable though I would have appreciated a microwave; nice mix of breakfast options; washer/dryer in the extended lobby area (interesting placement, if I may say). We were about the only guests there, so... More

It's nothing fancy not even the suites. But that being said it's clean and comfortable as well. My favorite part is its right in the park and makes for an awesome run along the waterfront and one of the nicest restaurants is in next door.

I live in saint louis and stayed at Mariner's Village for a weekend. What can I say about the experience, it was excellent. Luckily for me weather was great, so I enjoyed my whole stay there. I did see the other reviews about bugs and spider webs before going there and bit hesitant to stay at the cabin but ended... More

Spent one night here in one of the cabins. The cabins sit on a pond, nice views. That was the positive. Overpriced, dirty, outdated, bugs everywhere. It cost $175 for the five of us to stay one night. We had to sweep the floors when we arrived because of dead bugs everywhere. My brother-in-law arrived first and it was freezing... More

Spent three nights. No frills, clean, roomy rooms. Basic Dish TV, HBO. Free wifi. Minimal, free, cold breakfast. Decent restaurant next door. Good location, proximity to marina, beach, picnic area, walking/biking trails, visitor center. Short walk to dam and fishing areas. 5 minutes to Carlyle town, shops, dining.
