We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful place in February 2014 for our photography work in Yala National Park. The room was great with A/C & the fan. Also very clean beddings & toilet with good shower, exactly what we were looking for the price we payed. Very beautiful surrounding with loads of birds & other wild life too if you... More

This was my wife and I 2nd favorite place we stayed while visiting the island. We were so surprised by it, our driver set this place up for us and it was exactly one of the things we were looking for. It literally feels like you are inside Yala National Park. We stayed for 2 nights, the bungalows aren't huge... More

This place is located out of town but a tuktuk is very cheap, around 200rupees. It only has 3 huts and 1 room surrounded by nature. Rooms are clean, quirky and blend in to nature. Staff are amazing, they go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable. They showed us how to cook Sri Lankan dishes one evening... More

First thing to understand is that this lodge only has 3 rooms ( cabins) & 3 staff , is accessed via a dirt road which is impassable if heavy rain. The kitchen was clean with basic but fresh food. They did not stock any drinks and would send for a tuktuk from town to get alcohol if they could get... More

Only stayed a night here, but it was great as we arrived on short notice in the middle of the night. They immediately accommodated us and our request to have breakfast early in the morning ("Anytime, no problem!" the manager said). We were in one of the bungalows which were small, but cozy with a very comfortable bed - perfect... More

We spent a night here in August and couldn't have been more impressed. The accommodation is fairly basic, but has some lovely touches (a conch shell for a tap... and a lovely four-poster bed). But beyond that, it was the service that we couldn't believe. For a fairly low budget option, we received better service than in most 5* hotels,... More

The bungalows and location look like an excellent idea and can be a real treat for those seeking a quiet picturesque place to stay while doing the 'safaris' on offer at Yala etc However the larger family suite does not live up to the standards of the other builings. It basically feels like a cheap garage conversion! No blinds over... More
