this place is perfect! it is about 1 hour away from the airport but once here, we did not want to leave the premises. we had been travelling for a while so this was the relaxation we needed. the bungalows face the water and there is a coral reef right in front of you. snorkling equipment is provided for free,... I was looking forward to celebrating our anniversary with an authentic Polynesian experience, far from the westernized resorts. Based on the reviews on Travelocity we chose A Pueu Village, a place that seemed clean and enjoyable. We booked 4 months ahead. It took us a long time to find the place because there was no proper signage. We pulled in... More

I write this review after reading Henriette P1. What did you expect in Tahiti for $60/night? We stayed with Victor and Blandine for 3 days at the end of Nov 2012. Victor met us at the airport and took us shopping as we did not have a car. Blandine took my wife to the beach near Gaugin's museum. And they... More

The four chalets on this property are crammed into a corner of garden overlooking a very nice sheltered lagoon with excellent swimming from ladders. But that is the only saving grace. The chalets are only five meters apart and only twenty meters off a very busy road. The only distraction from the traffic noise is your neighbour’s conversation next door.... More

Hello I want to say that this is the only negative comment that our company recorded: most of our customers have been delighted with their stay. Our establishment is not responsible disorders committed by our guests. It is unthinkable that our staff go hang clothes hosts in their suitcases. These clothes were scattered on the floor intentionally to take a... More

Victor and Blandine treated us extremely well during our 5 day stay. We really enjoyed the bungalow, a perfect getaway for two people. Tahiti is a very busy island but Pueu Village on Tahiti Iti is in one of the quieter parts of the island. This makes it a wonderful place to just slow down. The snorkeling right outside our... More

Spent three days in Pueu Village with another couple in March, 2013, and what a terrific and relaxing time it was...a great way to kick off our trip. Victor and Blondin were wonderful hosts, giving us some ideas of things to see and do, and providing coffee in the AM. The bungalows are in good condition, and provide a great... More

A very relaxing and enjoyable 4 days. Victor and Blandine are fantastic hosts! As I do not drive, the meals and Victor's willingness to take me places was much appreciated. Every day, Victor and Blandine always checked to see what I needed and the meals were much appreciated...I especially loved having breakfast each morning on the deck outside my bungalow.... More

This was our first introduction to French Polynesia, the beginning of a two month trip. Overall, A Pueu Village was a good experience. The location was far from anything useful and a car became essential to see the island or get supplies. The hosts were very kind but other reviewers seem to have had better luck with having meals, coffee,... More

We had a very relaxing three days, after two months in South America, with Victor and Blandine. Nothing was too much trouble for Victor who drove us to the shops, and to meet our bus and proudly showed us some local sights. Both he and Blandine were very friendly, helpful and generous but perhaps a little overattentive when we just... More

We loved staying at Pueu Village - Victor and Blandine are always helping you out, trying to see if there is anything else you need! Of course in a place like this you don't really need anything except to chill out! If you are looking to relax from a busy schedule back home, wherever that is; this is definately worth... More
