I always stay at this hotel now because how amazing my experience has been each time. The staff by far makes the experience incredible. They were so caring, friendly, and welcoming! The hotel also has a lot of character with the old style it has to it. Great price and wonderful restaurant next door as well. I would recommend it... More

The Chateau is located right off Veteran's Highway (Business 55) and Jumer in the College Hills shopping area of Bloomington. Location was a big factor in my selection of a hotel. Also, the building is very distinctive in that it has an old world look. There is an indoor pool on site and as such, maintains a strong smell of... More

Our bed had no blanket on it, and the hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work- the one time I didn't bring mine from home, go figure. I called the front desk & the gentleman told me he would send up a blanket & also a maintenance person to get the hair dryer working, but no one ever came. Our... More

We stayed here as part of a package with an event at the hotel. It was definitely an older hotel, but there was no issue with cleanliness - just seemed a little dated, elevator ran slowly. But for the price we paid, it couldn't be beat.

My husband treated me to an overnight stay and steak dinner all for under $125! He purchased a king size/non smoking room for $88 + tax and then we shared the savory BBQ Baby-Back Ribs and Filet Medallions for $25 + tax. Comfortable quarters, old style flair of medieval era, and wi-fi were a bonus for a romantic get-a-way so... More

We checked in late at night due to a bad snow storm on our way home. It was great to have a room available, and the gentleman at the front desk was really nice. It was cool that is was independently owned, and had many little characteristics that gave it charm. However, the room was really hot..and then really cold.... More

We were here a few months ago and stayed for a concert we were going to at The Castle Theater. It is a very cute old fashioned hotel. I really loved the kitchy feel of everything. My only complaint was the internet did not work when we got back to the room after the show. I wanted to upload some... More

Beautiful hotel with charm, character and an excellent layout. Miles above the cookie-cutter big name hotels. I really liked the Victorian and medieval decor. The sitting area with the fireplace was cool, and the entrance to Tony Romas restaurant was well camouflaged, so it didn't ruin the atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were... More

Our school was involved with Special Olympics Basketball this year. I contacted Erica who heads blocked rooms and extras, When she made our group feel like royality I can only imagine about a family. She was so helpful with arrangements, and seeing that we got the best care. Thanks Erica for all you did.

For a hotel room rate that was less than $60, the value is phenomenal. The hotel is clean and the rooms seem to have new carpet and the beds are comfortable. The rooms and common areas always smelled pleasant and clean. Our room was quiet even though it was in a hallway that was open over the reception area. Tony... More
