Can't believe I'm actually writing a review for a Days Inn. Just never thought I'd be staying at one, since most that I have seen look outdated and past their prime. On a recent trip to Nashville for the weekend we did not make a reservation for our first night because we did not know how far we would drive. As we started to approach the town where we thought we would stay, we started calling hotels while driving and soon discovered the hotels were booked in that particular town due to a trade show. Bottom line we ended up stopping sooner and we thought and our options were very limited (3 motels). The first motel was definitely ruled out from appearance, the second motel only had rooms with double beds, we wanted a queen or king, so we ended up trying the Motel 6. Got a non-smoking room with king bed at a good rate. The room was very clean and quiet. We had a good nights sleep and proceeded the next day on our way to Nashville. more
