Let's face it, if you are driving through the mountains on I-90, the pickins are slim in hotels. We drove into historic Wallace and stayed one night at the modern Wallace Inn and were happy with our stay. The room was spacious and the beds were quite comfortable and even on the ground floor, there was very little noise from... More

We decided to stay at this hotel because it was recommended in the Moon Handbook for Idaho. One of the perks of this hotel is that the manager, Rick, will provide transport to and from the nearby mountain bike trail - Route of the Hiawatha - (for an additional fee) and stop at Lookout Pass so that riders can pick... Our family of four stayed one night before biking the Route of the Hiawatha. The check-in was easy and the staff all super friendly. The pool and hot tub were nice after a long day of driving. Our room was clean and it was super nice to have a micro fridge in our room for our food, being able to... More

We recently stayed at The Wallace Inn. What a great place!! VERY, very friendly service. My husband and I were on a vacation with our 6 teenage grandkids, and we had a wonderful time here! Service was great (the manager Rick was outstanding), the pool, hot tub and sauna were a real hit. Made for a very enjoyable vacation!!

I was impressed with how clean and comfortable the Wallace Inn was. The staff and especially Rick the manager provided our group with helpful information about many local places of interest, including several excellent dining options.

My wife and I stayed at the Wallace Inn before and after riding the Bitterroot Loop 300K. Rick Schaffer provided us with local knowledge before the ride and debriefed with us after the ride. Rick is super enthusiastic about the trails in and around the Idaho panhandle and was genuinely interested in our experience when asking how we enjoyed the... More

So we stayed here to ride the great bike trails in the area that we have read about for years. The Bike trails were AMAZING......but we expected that. What we also found was a great hotel. Clean. friendly, good food. they had a special bike storage.....and the manager helped get us all set up with shuttle rides for our bike... More

Wallace, Idaho is a small mining town that does not have many options for overnight stays -- the Wallace Inn is a great place if you're looking for a mainstream, dependable hotel that's located just a few blocks from the heart of town. Adjacent to the freeway and easy to access. Large rooms, wifi, flat screen tv, swimming pool and... More

Other than needing some major updating, it is a good place to stay. The carpeting really needs replacing. The staff were friendly and helpful. We thought we might stay there on our return to the west coast, but opted instead for a place in Missoula. There aren't too many options for places to stay once one leaves Coeur d'Alene, and... More

This is a very solid motel near the interstate highway and just a short walk to the main part of Wallace and plenty of dining options and drinking establishments. Despite being close to the interstate highway, noise was not an issue. Staff are friendly and most helpful. Rooms are spacious with pretty good decor. I always check available accommodations to...
