Overall room very clean. Old school motel, nothing has changed for many years, but worth the cost. Near everything in downtown Wallace. Basically no outlets to charge phones, ipads, etc. without unplugging lights or tv. TV is old, but it works. Walls thin, but adds to the excitement. Save money from Wallace Inn and stay here. Only con was when... More

Back to the 70's we go. What a great place to stay. It is a little dated, butt that is part of charm. Staff was both friendly and helpful. It does not look like what you expect. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They are also very quite. I would highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

This place was cheap, 54 bucks on a travel web site, but clean and well maintained. At that price, places are usually pretty dodgy, but this was o.k. The parking lot is lit up like a prison yard, but the curtains kept the room dark. There were a few decent restaurants within a few blocks walk, and downtown Wallace has... More

Because of the shortage of rooms in Wallace Idaho, they put a very high value on theirs. They aren't worth what they charge. We traveled throughout Idaho and western Montana for three weeks and this was the very most expensive rate we paid. The rooms were old school and small. I even concealed the fact that we had a pet... The Prime Minister of Hospitality and Good Will for Wallace, who has a second job as General Manager of the Wallace Inn, Stardust's sister hotel, arranged a wonderful trike vacation for us. We rode our trikes on the Trail of Hiawatha and the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes over three days and the Stardust Motel was a perfect base of... More

Little has changed here since the 1960's, except the rates which recently jumped about $30 a night. Still the same old 1960's furniture and decor, frayed and faded; and odors of an aging building are masked under nauseating cleaning perfumes. But the cost of a for a room is now close to $100 per night. The hotel keeper explained that... More

Could not have asked for more friendly staff. Everything went great. We arrived early and was granted early check in. Room was upper floor with a nicer view and not street. All we usually expect (demand) is clean and quiet and this motel filled the bill. Will definitely stay here again.

From the first friendly greeting, things were as one would wish. They allowed me to park my motorcycle under cover (May; it could have rained). Rates were reasonable, the room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant around the corner is not only good good food but also an experience. When I walked in for breakfast, a (local, one would... More

On the spur of the moment my cousins from Montana invited me to join them for a ride down the Route of the Hiawatha bike trail a few miles east of Wallace. For dozens and dozens of years I had seen the Stardust Motel right in the middle of town but had never stayed there. I was staying only one... More
