My sons and I stayed here in late October on a fly fishing trip. My youngest is being deployed to Afghanistan next year so this was a very special trip for us and the folks here were wonderful. The cabins are modern, clean and well appointed with the exception of pots and pans. I brought my own, but I'm fussy... More

I have stayed at the Sleepy J Cabins three times. Each time the cabins have been clean and comfortable. They are conveniently located for people fishing the South Fork of the Snake or travelling to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone Park and are reasonable priced. Swan Valley is a pretty place and every angler should fish this section of the river.... More

Wish we could have spent more time here but we were just passing through. I did enjoy a nice sunrise run through the valley which is one of the most beautiful spots I have seen. Staff is awesome!!! I called to say we would be checking in late and they said now worries we will leave the porch light on... More

A lovely stay and one that surpassed my expectations within minutes of arriving and checking in! Considering the expense of some options in Jackson and relative surroundings, Sleepy J has been a real find - hopefully word of mouth will keep the cabins fully booked throughout the year :)

I stayed here with my folks for one night and loved it. The cabins have a real at home feeling that made my stay really good. The cabins are located in a very pleasant and calm place so there will be no highway noise or smell. My cabin (pine creek) was very clean and had a nice flat screen TV,... More

We were so lucky to have stopped here. We found it while walking across America, on The Great American Walkabout. We were so surprised! They have several lovely cabins available, in one and two bedrooms. The rooms were decorated in a comfortable home away from home style. Most of the traffic in the area is from fishermen and adventure travelers,... More

Stayed again, just as satisfied. These are a collection of modern cabins (we stayed in one of the smaller ones). They are very cozy, modern, well-made and well-furnished, immaculate. Swan Valley is a understatedly gorgeous area. We were again passing through fairly quickly, but did have time to do some minor hiking around the nearby falls.

Why fight for the tiny room and high rates of fancy resort cities like Jackson, when you can have a wonderful, clean cabin in a peaceful setting? Our cabin was spacious, tastefully furnished, homey, and clean. The small-town atmosphere of Swan Valley with it's nearby attractions makes Sleepy J Cabins the perfect base camp for a vacation in the region.... More

My wife and I stayed here in September of 2010 and absolutely loved this place. The owner is a lady who grew up here, and is a book of information about local sights. There is a good eatery just a short walk down the road, and the scenic beauty of the valley lures you out into a long stroll to... More

We stayed in one of the smaller cabins. The cabins are new, basically small houses. Sparkling clean, very comfortable: a bedroom, bathroom, and a front room with kitchenette. Swan Valley is a gorgeous setting, the cabins are on the owners' ranch. Upon check-in, they gave us a quick run-down of some nearby hikes, sights, and places to eat. I would... More
